6-8 Waterloo Square, Pocklington, YorkVisited with family and friends. Just turned up on a Saturday and had to wait 10 minutes. Two nice ladies serving who gave us a good window seat. Quick and friendly service. Tasty food and cakes. Clean toilets upstairs. Parking can be sometimes hard un Pocklington, but otherwise a great find.

The Ramblers' Rest
The Ramblers Rest, Main St, Millington, YorkWe visited whilst cycling past and stopped for a bite to eat
Their Scones are fabulous, and a very generous size
We washed these down with some bottles from a local brewery.
The cafe was doing a brisk trade, with walkers and cyclists alike turning up for refreshments.
The staff are all very friendly and made you feel welcomed.
A nice corner of the wolds to rest at before heading off back on the trails.

Yorkway Motel
The Balk, Pocklington, York, East Riding of Yorkshire5 stars don't do this place justice, it's fantastic. Lorraine and Michelle are 2 amazing ladies who add to the delight of staying here. The food is so fantastic that my family and I are already planning a return, even if its just for the delicious food and amazing company
Rooms: The rooms are fantastic we needed room for 3 adults, they are very clean and spacious. The shower was absolutely fantastic, it was so hot and powerful
Food and drinks: The food here is absolutely fantastic and at a great price.

Melbourne Road, Pocklington, YorkI visited the coffee shop several times. It is nice and worth a try. Its advantage is that breakfast is available after 12 o’clock. Of course, parking is free. I recommend visiting it.

We have- bruschetta ( very simple - good taste )
Fish balls ( good taste but nothing special)
Decorations was " English style nothing close to Italian style"
Mains- Lasagne( baby size , our choice) big portion, well made it, good taste.
- linguine with prowns ( special offer, more expensive like rest of linguine's) delicious a few good size prawns.
- Pizza Napoli, very well dough , cooked perfectly, it was an only 1 dish that I can compare with what we have in Italy ( several times) ... worth recommending...
Staff very friendly, except one situation when the "show man -waiter" asked me "" sorry I'm confused, where are you come from""??♂️??♂️
Restaurant as a general needs some refreshments...
Generally, if You are not a refined connoisseur of Italian cuisine and little things don't matter you,then you will enjoyed with fresh good food , tastes very well an a bit away from Italy...

The Mile Cafe
The Mile, Pocklington, YorkGood place to drop in for a break. A mini market selling all sorts from beer to bird food. Good camping site for motorhomes caravans etc. Lots of activities from craft fairs to dog shows to health n wellbeing to cyclist meets. There's a dog walking and play area to rent by the hour.

3-5 Railway St, Pocklington, YorkWe were on holiday in the area and fancied some fish and chips. This venue did not disappoint,all freshly prepared and cooked with batter to die for light crispy and did not detract from the taste of the fish. Both the haddock and plaice were first class. Well worth a visit

What a great place, the service was fantastic and attentive, the food was superb, I'm so glad we chose to go into town rather than eating at The Glasshouse (The KP's own restaurant).
We will have no hesitation in eating here the next time we play KP ?

They made the perfect pizza, ham, pineapple, jalapenos and extra cheese. It was 10/10
Parking opposite the bus station.so no excuses not to go.
Parking: 2 hours free between 8am and 6pm, no restrictions after 6pm

Pocklington, Kilnwick Percy, YorkHad a great time, lodge was very nice overlooking the golf course. The course is in fantastic condition played four rounds. Staff were fantastic too highly recommend.
Rooms: Very nice all bedrooms ensuite.
Food and drinks: Amazing club sandwiches and Sunday dinner. Drinks are expensive but I suppose that depends what part of the country your from.

Kilnwick Percy, Pocklington, ResortFantastic views overlooking the golf course and beyond, the place is clean and modern, there's plenty of car parking, and plenty of tables inside and outside, the service was good and the food was reasonable (not gastro standard) good drinks choice all in all a nice place to go for lunch... especially on a nice sunny day sat outside.

Broadhelm Close, Pocklington, YorkSecond time here in two months. Takeout order for four people quickly prepared (less than 10 minutes), food was piping hot, I had time to drive back to Wilberfoss, and the food was still warm. Quality of the food was good, on par with other KFC.
