Ferriby's Coffee House
27 Low St, North FerribyThis is the perfect coffee shop experience. It’s friendly and comfortable. Coffee is gorgeous, tea in the pot, and my favourite is the Mocha in a tall mug with chocolate sprinkles. Great for a children’s birthday lunch, cooked breakfasts, or friends for lunch. Thank you Amanda and

Duke of Cumberland
High St, North FerribyArrived at the Duke today to be greeted by a rude stand in manager who broke the news that they had double booked the party room for my 6 year old birthday party and there was nothing they could do with a shrug of the shoulders. Obviously very upset with six year old in toe was told to take the child away. Assuming so she didn't look mean telling a child her party is cancelled. Fortunately for us an amazing gentleman called Craig who i assume also manager ( if not definitely should be and deserves a raise!!!) offered us a last minute solution of having the whole back area to ourselves (which may I add the original woman tried to stop saying we couldn't do that) and assisted in decorating and offered a hand in anything he could do absolutely first class amazing man!!! Over all made the best out of a bad situation which is why such a high starred review!! There was also another lady who assisted but didn't get her name she only popped in on her day off and got drafted in to help so thankyou sooo much to you also!!!

The Swan & Cygnet
Main St, Swanland, North FerribyFirst and most important, the food is lovely. The fish and chips are massive, in fact I couldn't finish the meal, and the price for a gastro pub is very reasonable, However I do know a pub near London and a pub near Hull selling the same meal prices may differ and I am used to the ones near London.
It's situated in a nice location and the car park is nice. the service during the meal was ok, my only gripe and it's only a small one was at the end, I had to walk to the bar to pay and felt like I was interrupted a teenage get together behind the bar. Not even a thank you or goodbye. again this is a small issue and something that I look for, other people may be ok with this. I would recommend the pub if you are looking for a good heaty meal.
