Popped in on Saturday 4 adults with my Grandaughter. Couldn't of made us more welcome. We came back in the evening for meals which were fantastic, the atmosphere was brilliant, everyone just enjoying themselves. Definitely spreading the word amongst the caravan owners. Well done and good luck for the future.

Sumo Pan Asian (Hessle)
40 Prestongate, Hessle2nd time my partner and I have visited Sumo and both times we have had a very pleasurable experience.
The food selection is brilliant - I’m vegetarian and was expecting to have a limited choice but they have multiple options for veggies and vegans; all dishes I’ve tried are very flavourful and delicious, the portions are also sizeable - you definitely get your moneys worth.
Service is consistently great and friendly. We came at a very quiet time but it soon filled up, the staff were attentive to everyone and wait times for food/drink were very short.
Drinks are quite strong, but very well worth it!
Note that there is a 10% tip included in your bill.
Parking: We came via bus as parking in Hessle can be difficult to find

24-26 Prestongate, HessleThis is my favourite place for lunch in the whole of East Riding/Hull. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing and you can really have anything you want. So much care clearly goes into the food you get and there’s so many options. I have ordered online and been in store and the quality is no different. The gentleman who runs the bakery is so kind and helpful. There is a huge selection of cheese to buy as well as bread and other treats. I could not recommend this place any more if you fancy a good sandwich. The bread, meat and even salad is such quality. Please order from this place!

Never been a fan of the chicken but I just don’t order it. It’s very reasonably priced and it’s worth it in my opinion. I will say though I’ve started having a new issues with them recently, not getting cheese on my chips that I paid for or getting the wrong sauces. Other than this though, I love the place

S Ella Way, HullWe ate out for the first time for Christmas dinner today the Beechtree didn't disappoint, everything was absolutely beautiful! The starter, the main course and dessert was all perfect. Tea and coffee afterwards was a lovely extra. The staff were all polite and went above and beyond. Hessle Tandoori
10 Hull Rd, HessleBought popadoms, 2 curry’s, nan, rice, 2 pints and had a pudding for less than £50. A last minute thought to attend this curry house whilst staying locally for a few nights. We can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made. The meal was set made quickly, everything was cooked the perfection and very tasty. Should we be close again, it will be our first thought for a meal out.

55 Prestongate, HessleWe love this place! Great selection of beers and cider on tap but also a fab collection of cans, we like to try different ones and often have a Saturday afternoon taste test! The staff are super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We often end up stood at the bar just chatting to people. There is also a good selection of games plus it's dog and child friendly.

All was tasty and excellent portion but the bread was exceptional. Would recommend and thank them so much for their hospitality.

Prices are beyond cheap for what you get and I've never left hungry. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. My favourite lunch stop by far.

5-7 Swinegate, HessleWe went to The Hase for the first time today and can definitely say we will be back.Myself and my partner had a lovely Sunday dinner (chicken was cooked perfectly, literally melts in the mouth) and our children had a jacket potato and chicken nuggets with chips (proper homemade chips!) Our youngest doesn't eat well so the lovely landlady brought him a little bowl of chips which was so lovely and thoughtful.Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon

56 Hull Rd, HessleWent for brunch with my M in L, this place certainly lives up to its good review history- friendly welcome and attentive staff. Food was excellent - we had the full breakfast with added hash browns and the special - avocado scrambled eggs and bacon with hash browns. Coffee was excellent too. If you haven’t been here, why not? We will be back.
Vegetarian options: We were in for breakfast so we didn’t checkout the whole menu - there is a full veggie breakfast option and some of the other options are also suitable for vegetarians
Parking: There is street parking, but it might be tricky to find a space at busy times.
Kid-friendliness: Yes very kid friendly - there were families in when we were there.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think this place would be ok for wheelchairs, especially outside - but it isn’t a big place and it gets busy so it might not always be possible to accommodate a wheelchair.
