Morrisons Cafe
Bessingby Rd, BridlingtonWhen I entered the cafe, it was very clean and tidy. No trays or dirty plates left on the tables, which was great to see. I sat down and ordered on the app. I ordered a sweet potato curry, rice & naan with a cup of tea. I also ordered my daughter a cheese sandwich, quavers and a fruit shoot. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced, especially as I was able to use the kids eat free deal. I interacted with 3 members of staff. All of whom were very friendly. It was also great to see them working so hard as the cafe’s busy period had ended. They were working hard cleaning the tables again and cleaning the floors. It was brilliant to see as some staff in cafes are quick just to stand about in quiet periods. I will definitely be back as it was a lovely relaxing meal. I think some of the previous comments are quite harsh and undeserved.

Jackson’s Fisheries
4-5 Kirkgate, BridlingtonFrom the outside it looked close and very small. But looks can be deceiving and this is a little gem of a chippy.
Chips were perfect full of flavour and cooked just right. I had battered sausage and the batter was crispy and light. Sausage also had flavour and not any signs of grease. Unsure if they were cooked in dripping or oil. But definitely full of flavour. Even had scarps and unlike many chippys that sell big clunks of batter and grease these were small and no grease. These also had flavour too. Four people fed for just over £30 and with generous portions none of us where hungry after this and some had leftovers.

Aloha Bridlington
20 S Cliff Rd, Bridlington***UPDATE 22-09-2024***
Went again for my wife’s birthday and it took just over 35 minutes for the food to arrive which is acceptable when it’s this good. I ordered a GRAND SLAM for £30 and I nearly fainted when I saw how much food they brought out. A 8oz steak and half a chicken and a rack of ribs!!!! My daughter’s Nacho Cowabonga was similarly generous.
Overall a brilliant night with excellent food so I’m adding a 5th star. I have to apologise because I forgot to tip the waitress in all the excitement. Next time I go I will rectify that. *********
Booked table on Saturday night for 7:15. had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Had our drinks then ordered our food at 7:50 but our food didn`t arrive until 8:45. Thats a 55 minute wait! The food was pricey in some areas. My Reef and Beef cost £39. If you are going to charge £39 for a steak with prawns then you need to make sure its pretty perfect. And it was. It was an really good meal with chips, really nice peas with I think bits of bacon in. And I was full afterwards. My wifes` meal was basically a hunters chicken which she absolutely loved and that was about £22 and so was my daughters Chimmychunga. I think Dannys burger was only £14 and again everyone was stuffed. Theres so much on the menu that I will go back and try different meals. Even though the Reef and Beef was excellent, it was still pricey. The drinks were slightly more expensive, than other pubs/restaurants in the area, by about 50p.. Ive knocked a star off for the 50minute wait for food and knocked another star off for the prices but added an extra star because the food was faultless. No-one had any complaints about their meal and the service from the staff was great. So will definately go back again. I dont mind paying good money for good food so well done Aloha!

Supattra Thai Restaurant
29 Quay Rd, BridlingtonWe are usually a bit last minute so quite often miss out on a table here. Last week we managed to book and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, staff were very attentive & friendly but the food was the star of the show. Everything tasted so fresh, it was piping hot and really tasty. I now understand why we have to book in advance & will definitely try to plan ahead and book again. Will recommend to friends especially my sister in law who is gluten free (lots of gf options) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Queens Hotel
High St, BridlingtonThe Queen's Hotel is a nice pub with a good selection of beers, larger, and cider. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We only called in for a drink but ended up having something to eat. The food is very good and the service is excellent. There is a very nice large beer garden with a stage for live music and an open mic on Sunday afternoons. The setup is very good with a pa and a drum kit. They even offer to lend you a guitar if you don't have one with you. They also have live music on Saturdays. There is no pool table, but the pub is dog friendly. It's a great place for food, drink and live music.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu
Dietary restrictions: The pub caters for allergies
Parking: It can be difficult to find a space close to the pub at certain times, but there is plenty of free parking in the surrounding area.
Wheelchair accessibility: The pub is on one level in the bar, but there is a separate room on a lower level and steps down to the garden.

Canton Kitchen
218 Quay Rd, BridlingtonJust had a takeaway today (19/08/24). Excellent service, quick and polite. Meal was cooked to order in the open kitchen. Always reassuring when you can see the kitchen and how your food is prepared and cooked. This was probably one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had.
5 stars given for all categories as the chef team actually took time to speak to me so they got the “atmosphere“ score.
Overall, I would recommend Canton Kitchen if you want a good oriental meal.

Harbour Fisheries
9 Harbour Rd, BridlingtonWhen visiting Bridlington, fish and chips is almost mandatory! But which shop? There are lots!
I went to Harbour Fisheries, and I can honestly say the fish and chips I had here were the best I've had anywhere for years! The fish was absolutely perfect - nice crispy batter covering delicious chunky, flaky juicy fish. The chips were fantastic too. All served piping hot as it was cooked to order.
Very pleasant friendly man serving.
Prices are reasonable too.
I will definitely return. Thank you!
