Amazing! First off, the staff are so friendly. They never hesitate to answer any questions and make you feel so welcome, no matter the day/time.The decor and the atmosphere are great. I keep finding new details to admire. Love the surprise in the ladies loo as well! ?✨The new menu is to die for! Gorgeous. I hate to admit I’ve had two burgers in the space of a week but can’t resist.This isn’t bog standard stuff - this is a menu that’s been properly thought through and they’ve thought outside the box! Unique things I haven’t seen before - super tasty. Try it all.The cocktail menu is equally fab - loads of choice and beautifully presented.

Found by chance in a lovely little village as staying locally for work.Dropped in for a meal, ham egg and chips. Any may I say I was not disappointed.Managed to fit me in as was fully booked.Great service and friendly atmosphere.Thank you.

Have to agree with all the other 5* reviews. Fantastic night, big birthday , a brilliant night. The service was the best I've every experienced .... and we are well travelled. Professional, warm and really contributed to my best birthday night out. Again, must say fabulous staff. Thank you all.

The Little Tap

Fantastic little traditional pub with friendly people and staff, mix of guest beers and other drinks, only has a few tables as it's similar to a micro pub. Highly recommended and worth popping in. Clean, tidy and prices are reasonable

The Village Inn

Another family night out at the village inn. Fantastic home cooked food with huge portions. Great selection of drinks. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Large carpark so plenty of room. Definitely recommend a meal here. Lasagne was amazing. Special curry was chock full of meat and fish and chips so fresh.

The Black Horse Inn & Pitman’s Grill Restaurant

Booked in for Sunday lunch, it was the beat Sunday lunch we have all had in a while. Huge portions, fresh delicious food. Amazing for the price too, staff were also lovely. Great atmosphere would definitely recommend to anyone. We will be back ?

Great plate of fish and chips sitting in the room at the back of the shop. Good chips, tasty fish and crispy batter. Waitress serving us could not have been more helpful. Decent prices topped off a good experience.

Sunrise Fish Bar

First time buying from here, absolutely First class. Got battered burger and small chips.Burger was like saucer, stacks of fresh chunky chips (no scrappy bits), really delicious.

The best little cafe in Spennymoor. If you're looking for proper home cooked food this is your place. Staff are friendly and welcoming, their menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Seating is available on two floors and there is a bathroom situated on the first floor. The cafe is clean and accessible for all users. You will always be pleasantly surprised when your meal arrives, the portion sizes are very generous and extremely delicious. Always our first choice for food.. we even have them deliver to us when we cant get down to the cafe. The same food delivered by their friendly driver. For ease of payments they do take good old cash, and card payments, and the delivery driver also has a card machine if you're like me and dont carry cash. Give them a shot you wont be disappointed

As a visitor to spennymoor me and the family decided to have a Chinese meal, the whole meal was exceptional the flavours were amazing. we had the sweet and sour Hong Kong style, duck peeking, chicken mushroom, house special chow mein and fried rice and much box combo and couldn't fault any, it arrived before the estimated delivery time and the driver was polite and friendly if I'm in the area again I will definitely be back.

Beautiful mushroom curry.\\nReally impressed with order. Would definitely recommend. Excellent customer service, very professional young man called Daniel.\\nReally polite delivery man too.

Never go anywhere else. Love their food. Swift delivery. Orders are always lovely and hot. Love their curry, and the chilli and garlic dish is delicious, just wish they did a vegetable only option for that one.

It is a great little pub that creates beautiful traditional food.The staff were very welcoming, and the pub was very clean.We attended for Sunday dinner, and it was very busy. Due to this, I'd recommend booking in advance, as wait times could be a while.Apologies, I'd ate my main meal before I had a chance to take a picture. You'll just have to go yourself and try the 8hour slow roasted brisket. Tremendous.Kid-friendliness: Staff were very good with the children.

Tudhoe Pizza

Got house special kebab the other night it's the first time we have used Tudhoe Pizza it was brilliant very tasty and plenty left over for breakfast, couldn't fault it and prices are on par with others in the town will definitely be going there again when I want a kebab 5 star.

I ordered a classic garlic bread and a homemade bacon cheeseburger it wad one of the best things ive ever tried from a pizza shop i would recommend trying them both.The staff was very friendly and talked with me while i was waiting for my friend.Overall a good pizza shop with good staff i would recommend visiting.

Pizzas are amazing. I used to have a friend in West Cornforth and we always ordered from here. Popped back for a collection and ordered a pepperoni with double sauce on base and onions. Every bit as good as I remember and the ingredients tasted really fresh ?

Popped back in as we were passing, it had been a while since our last visit, nothing had changed, the food was great, staff were friendly and value for money was top notch, wish we lived closer, will be back for sure

Food tasted great! Definitely going to order from here again. Giving 4 stars as I believe delivery could’ve been faster but I can’t fault as the food was delicious.

Absolutely 100% plus - just had a kebab and it's the best we've ever had. The place is spotless - it's new management have certainly done it proud - thank you we'll be back
