The Ilchester Arms is a charming, quiet little hotel with a cosy pub on the main floor. The rooms are beautifully appointed, featuring high ceilings, four-poster beds, and spacious bathrooms with double sinks and large tubs. However, the water temperature can be an issue, as it may not get very hot. The pub downstairs offers a well-rounded menu, and the breakfast is excellent, with great choices. While the hotel may need some investment and updating, it is considered exceptional value for money, especially during the off-season. The staff are friendly and helpful, and guests have expressed a desire to return in the future.
