Buckland Newton, DorchesterSarah and Simon are so accommodating and their attention to detail is brilliant. We had our wedding at the Gaggle in August 2024 and were absolutely delighted. They were happy to meet and discuss our plans multiple times before the big day, were really responsive with email communications, and happy to work with our ideas and suggest some of their own. Simon and the team's work on the food was amazing, and Sarah's eye for detail in setting up the tables and ceremony area was fantastic. We stayed on the glamping site also which was fab - shortest journey for a groom on record I'd imagine! All the guests commented on what a lovely venue it was, and many have said they will revisit. Thank you so much to Sarah, Simon and all the team at The Gaggle, you helped make our wedding day so special!

The Halsey Arms
The Halsey Arms, Pulham, DorchesterThe Halsey arms is a lovely pub & restaurant , very nice friendly staff & the food was lovely we had a carvery lovely big roast potatoes and plenty of different veg which was good as I'm a vegetarian so there was plenty for me minus the meat ,I even had my own jug of vegetarian gravy brought to our table , lovely atmosphere, good size car park & big beer garden ,it is even dog friendly if you sit by the bar area I will definitely be going again & would recommend this pub, very reasonable prices as well.
Parking: There isn't parking bays just a big open area on gravel ,there is some parking on the tarmac surface to the front
Kid-friendliness: My 20 month old grandson came for a carvery we were given a smaller plate for him which was cold so his food would cool down quicker
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair can easy go though the door it's all flat & good size areas to the bar & restaurant area .
