I’ve had lunch here several times in the last couple of months with various friends and dogs and would highly recommend. The menu is varied and all the dishes we’ve chosen have been well presented and delicious. The staff are exceptional - really friendly and welcoming to humans and dogs and it really is the perfect way to end a long countryside walk. Will be back soon ☺️

We were fortunate to be staying at South Lychett Manor and on recommendation walked. The food was first class to a very high restaurant standard. We enjoyed the whole evening and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Large selection of drinks and cakes (which look like home cooked cakes), staff are accommodating and there are milk alternatives for those who don't want dairy. I hear that the brunches are very highly rated.

Friendly staff, very tasty cake, great atmosphere.
Seating in the inner courtyard under umbrellas and in the old stables in the horse boxes that are still there.
Very cool.

Starbucks

We stopped here to break up a long drive and give the pooch a chance to stretch it's legs.

Service was good inside (it's also a drive through) maybe slightly more expensive than a StarBucks on a high street but the coffee was nice and welcome after our long trip en route to Weymouth.

It has time free parking but if you need to stay longer there is a parking permit machine inside you enter your reg onto to extend your stay.

Has a nice large indoor area where you can sit and relax while you have your food and drink if you wish.

It's off the busy A354 so has little in the way grounds or outdoor seating.

Also has charging stations for EV's

I am writing this review because I simply have to , I’ll tell you why …
I have only ever been to Subway once before and that was in London- the food honestly didn’t suit my taste , it wasn’t bad you understand just not for me .

I have since moved to Dorset as a Care in the Community worker - thus I am now a lady needing healthy nourishment at a good price ; as we don’t earn a pocket full of cash .

On a Tuesday morning starting a 12 hour shift I found myself needing a coffee and fuel so went to the Esso garage in Corfe Mullen . As I was waiting for my Starbucks coffee from the machine I looked around the shop to find myself being drawn to the Subway counter …
It smelled so good - the bread rolls of various types were freshly cooking in the oven, the array of fresh salad before me was breathtaking ; this was being lovingly and expertly prepared by the Manager .
When I explained to this wonderful young man that I was new to the Subway experience and not sure what to order he offered to assist me , guiding me through the choices while all the while asking what my food preferences were . As I listened attentively to what he was saying and thankful to have such a wonderful person to help me I then asked him to ‘make the decision for me ‘ . His face lit up with a wonderful and friendly smile and said he would be honoured too .
Can I say it was the best thing I’ve tasted for a long while !
With its fresh ingredients and amazing dressings expertly administered by the Manager it not only looked good but saw me through my 12 hour shift ( I only eat a bit at a time ) .
Needless to say I now actively go to this Subway in Corfe Mullen every Tuesday for my expertly made meal .
I can highly recommend getting the App - as recommended by the Manager , as there are many rewards to be had ( he helps me navigating that too ).
