20 The Square, Stratton, DorchesterWe were a party of four on our first visit to the Saxon Arms.
What a pleasure it was for us all. The service from all the staff was excellent, as was our meals.
We found the staff to be very friendly and professional.
All four of us ordered different main meals, all were very tasty.
We would like to thank the staff for their hospitality and would highly recommend a visit to the Saxon Arms.

The Sun Inn, Lower Burton, DorchesterSuperb food, the carvery is the best I’ve had. The gravy was so so good!! great service, lovely atmosphere. And dog friendly. Wish we lived closer so could visit more often.

The Gamekeeper
16 North St, Charminster, DorchesterTwo friends and I go out for Sunday lunch about once a month and have been to several local places. We have been here twice and this is the best so far. Great choice of meat and vegetables, beautifully cooked. Excellent service and not too noisy. Plenty of parking.
