The Jube
The Jubilee Inn, South St, WoolacombeWhat a lovely place. We dropped in for a midafternoon beer. The staff are truly amazing, warm and friendly. We had to go back for some food in the evening. 20 minute walk down there in the rain BUT it was well worth it! Their food is delicious. Well recommend the blush royale burger. Oh and they do neck oil!!
Great pub, great staff, great beer, great food.

The Tides Inn
Beach Rd, WoolacombeWEDDING EVENING RECEPTION SEPT 2024
Richard, Sally & his Team were fantastic from the word go!
Having just taken on the venue, they couldn't have given us any better service, communication and a great selection of food and drink.
We hired the venue exclusively for around 60 guests, with a gorgeous buffet of homemade chill and nachos, huge delicious quiches, breaded calamari and chicken strips, loaded potatoes and crudites, to name a few. This came out hot and was very filling! We have been eating it all week, thank you for kindly parcelling up the rest.
There was enough space on the balcony to watch the sun set, to cool off after our dancing. There's a cosy dancing space inside, where we set up two large speakers and our small decks, under the Tides Inn Disco ball and lights!
Staff behind the bar were lovely and efficient, serving a huge selection of craft beers, French wines and a huge cocktail list!
Richard and the Team were so helpful blowing up our 25 balloons and putting up some basic decor - The venue is beautiful enough!
Thank you for creating great memories for our special day, I have been spreading the word.
See you for a Sunday Roast, Tides Inn!
Love Liz & Rich Puttick

Bar Electric
Beach Road, WoolacombeWe visited for a midweek dinner treat with my mum and son. Mum and I shared the Japanese gyozas with dipping soy sauce as a starter and I had the Thai green curry with chicken as my main meal, and mum had the Buddha bowl. Service was attentive and friendly, our waitress kindly brought a high chair to the table for us. The place is modern and inviting with lots of surfing decor and videos being shown on the large screen tvs, as a reminder to everyone that we’re in the UK’s first world surfing reserve. Whilst eating our dinner, there was a doco on Carissa Moore being shown, which was really interesting! Loved watching the sunset and the views across Woolacombe over to the beach and beyond to Lundy as we ate our meal. Had a lovely time and we’ll definitely be back

Noel Corston
South St, WoolacombeHaving tried to book a table for 3yrs , whilst staying in Woolacombe, we finally succeeded An amazing intimate venue that sits 4 couples on individual tables in front of the maestro that is Noel Corston His wife Nora, had at least three roles throughout the night, great front of house and very engaging The food is thoughtfully , planned, prepared and presented from local suppliers by Noel The standout dish for us were the scollops in frozen buttermilk, although the crediton duck was just perfect If you like fine dining, great ambience and a chef who doesn’t take himself too serious, then this place is a must visit Thanks again Noel & Nora Not forgetting your son (kp) who makes up the winning formula

The Ship Aground
Mortehoe, WoolacombeWe visited this pub 3 times during our October break at Twitchen House. We ordered food each time as a family of 4, and with friends as a table of 7. Staff were extremely helpful & welcoming. We had 3 Border Collies with us and they brought them a bowl of water.
Our food was quickly served and very enjoyable. Good sized portions, presented nicely and tasted good.
Nice draught ales too!
We will definitely revisit when back in Devon ???

Captain Jacks Bar, Restaurant & Beer Garden
Barton Road, WoolacombeThere is seating inside and out. Most people were sitting outside as the weather was good. If you go round the back there are toilets with 1 step up, the width of the toilet is the width of the door. There could be more toilets, not sure where. The meals we had were hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a small car park at the rear.

Stoned
Sands, WoolacombeFabulous caravan. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely pleasant and attentive staff. Only problem is the location. It is impossible to walk anywhere from the site as there is no pavement and it is a very busy road. Impossible to gain access to the Tarka Trail on foot as you can't walk the road section. Fortunately, there is a bus stop right outside the site so you can leave the car. All in all, excellent site and staff. Thank you.
Safety: Can't walk from site.
Walkability: Impossible to walk from site.
