The Smugglers Kitchen
Fore St, Beer, SeatonA delicious dinner, full of flavour, thoroughly enjoyed by the three of us. Recommend the scallops and zucchini fritters as two starters. And the fish n chips, seafood curry and seafood linguine for mains. Terrific wine list too. I echo other reviewers in that the service was top notch. Thank you. We would have loved to try dessert but our time was up (you're given 90 minutes for your reservation) . A shame as 30 minutes later we walked by the restaurant and our table was still empty...

Le Pisani
1C Fore St, SeatonOne of the best meals I’ve had for a long time - lovely atmosphere, delicious food and charming staff.
I had the special anchovy pasta which was really good. My husband had the carbonara which he devoured and my toddler son loved his pepperoni pizza.
I’d highly recommended that you visit this place. Was such a nice way to start our holiday.

The Shed Steakhouse & Grill
4 Harbour Rd, SeatonI really enjoyed the place and went twice. The chef is really nice and really makes a nice effort in preparing good food with attention to details (the chips are better than normal for example). The beef was nice for the price point, and I really recommend the home made ice cream.

Frydays Traditional British Fish & Chips
2 The Burrow, SeatonWe wanted to eat fish and chips on the beach on the last night of our holiday in Seaton and Frydays Traditional British Fish and Chips looked like the best place to buy our food; it’s a very short walk to the beach.
There’s an eat in and takeout part and the takeout has areas for walk up and phone in.
The food was prepared fresh, after our order, so there was a bit of a wait, but they provide space to wait.
A fair number of people came in to order their food as we waited and several were clearly regulars.
The cod and chips that I had were very good, hot and crisp. The chips were a very good colour too.
Several other groups on the beach were eating fish and chips from this outlet.

The Beer Fish & Chip Shop
Fore St, Beer, SeatonHad the haddock and chips takeaway offer for £11 whilst on holiday in the area.
Felt that the fish and chips were very good and the portion size was great for me and my wife to share.
Also ordered pineapple fritter, curry sauce and mushy peas.
All good quality cooked fresh and served hot.
The shop is cash only, and parking near the shop can be a little tricky, but overall a good experience.

Chapple’s
Beer, SeatonChapples Beach Cafe is an outlet on Beer Beach.
There are lots of picnic tables and walkways are laid across the pebble beach to facilitate moving about.
They supplied us with very good tea and coffee. There were lots of people at other tables eating good looking food from the cafe.
They appear to rent out both beach huts and deckchairs.
Beer beach is a delightful spot on the Southwest Coast Path and having the cafe on the beach makes it all the better.
We didn’t spot toilets there, but there are some nearby in the town.

Seaton Kebab House
11 Marine Pl, SeatonNice kebabs, have tried both the Donner and the Chicken kebabs a few times are both are very tasty, shame they don't offer wraps on the menu. Lots of customers ordering pizzas so assume they must also be good (although haven't tried one myself as yet). Chips are also nice from here.

Gina's
Fore St, Beer, SeatonGina's is the best restaurant in the South West (personal opinion, I've been coming here for years!), and most definitely The Place to eat in Beer. A family owned restaurant serving up brilliant Italian and Thai dishes, there's something for everyone here. The pizzas, calzones and tiramisu are especially excellent. Booking is recommended, this popular place gets busy most evenings. If you're in the area, get to Gina's for a relaxing evening in a friendly establishment offering great food!

Old Picture House
Harbour Rd, SeatonThis was a really great last minute find. Really clean and comfortable apartment. 2 mins from the beach, restaurants and the Seaton Tramway.
It is a restored heritage building so there are creaking stairs and heavy doors, but it goes with the charm of staying in a heritage building. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Walkability: The apartments are about 2 mins walk when getting off the bus from Axminster station. And 2 minutes from the beach and restaurants.
