The Railway

Loved it in here. I was stopping nearby for work and the nearest pub to where I was staying was closed, and I’m really happy that I came here.
The pub is really old school, and there is no greater compliment I can give. The bar was full with locals, and there were plenty in the restaurant side (although I could have eaten in the bar side).
Really friendly service, didn’t have to wait long. I had the ham and eggs, which was delicious.
They don’t take card, so please take cash.

The White Hart North Tawton

Good has been really good every time I have been here, full of flavour and not over priced for the quality of food. Cocktails really great! But only when someone is trained on as I have had a few times not able to have one due to staff not able to make them but that has been when there has been when they are not busy. But the service is always really friendly. Will definitely be back.

Pizza Pronto

Nice food, friendly staff, and a few seats if you want to eat in. Not had any problems. It would be nice if the interior looked a bit fresher, but it's so hard running a business, so I get why they probably haven't. Also they have a home delivery service and I feel that if they had some leaflets of what they actually sold with tue home delivery number on there, it would be a lot easier for people to use and take this kebab house to the next level.

The Copper Key

Some great atmosphere from the new owners, the pub has been renovated, cleaned and even more taps have been put in. Some more unique drinks have been added which aren't usually served in local pubs around the area, alongside this, the prices are very cheap and won't be changing. Anywhere from £3.20 to £4.80 for different beers and ciders.

Would highly recommend for an after work pint or a Friday/Saturday night out

Jen's Cafe

I have had a 6-month run of work in North Tawton and have called in for breakfast every Friday; always had the 'Proper Job' full English. The food has always been fresh and very good and I can recommend Jen's Cafe to everybody.
