The Spicy Mare
9 Queen St, LyntonWe walked past here whilst visiting Lynton, the door was open and the smell amazing, we did our sighting and went back for 3pm when it would reopen. She is open from 5pm for hot food, we bought 3 dishes and a rice and took them back to the Motorhome for later that night. Amazing food, would highly recommend. The Spicy Mare is a one woman enterprise and we’re so glad we walked that way!!

North Coast Cafe
5 Queen St, LyntonThe most incredible scones I've had in England. Seriously, I've had a lot of cream teas and this place is far and above the best, and they have tons of different scone flavours and spreads. And, they have gluten free scones as well!! A must stop if you're visiting Lynton, you won't be disappointed.

Cliff Railway Cliff Top Café
Lee Rd, LyntonNice little cafe with coffee, cake, pasties, and sausage rolls. Also, some souvenirs for purchase. We bought a steak pasty and sausage roll; both were good but pricey.

The Vanilla Pod
10 Queen St, LyntonI thought that the price was high but might be just that every food place in Lynton is expensive. Food was really well presented and looked like effort had been taken to prepare it. I found some of the combinations a bit awkward though, fish with turmeric for example. Would have preferred some more traditional tastes, hence the 4stars. 5star otherwise, and people serving really nice.

The Rising Sun
Harbourside, LynmouthThe pub was great, the food was delicious.Couple of the staff seemed to not really want to be there.
The room we stayed in was very small and the shower was not worth using, it was just attached to the bath and no shower curtain.
Extremely noisy outside.
For the price we paid very unsatisfactory.
