IlfracombeVery accommodating for us as a party of 8 adults and one child. Large menu choice of dishes but unfortunately for me most of the meals were hot and spicy! The pizza was enjoyed as were the loaded fries and burgers. I choose the gammon steak egg and chips as that had no chilli or jalapenos.

The Terrace Tapas and Wine Bar
62 Fore St, IlfracombeFirst visit to the Terrace Tapas and Wine Bar and it did not disappoint. We had a very polite welcoming on arrival. We arrived early than expected, and we were able to sit and have a drink first. The wine choice is lovely, and the food was even better. Reasonable prices and good quality food. Morgan was very polite and helpful at all times

Take Thyme Lobster & Fish Restaurant
1 Fore St, IlfracombeHad a meal booked for 2 here today at 12.15pm. What can i say ? It was FANTASTIC. Had a scallop starter, and seafood chowder for main. My partner had steak . It was all cooked superbly. Will definitely go back for more, when I’m in ilfracombe again.

13-14, High St, IlfracombeWhile staying in Illfracombe, we visited tandori nights indian restaurant. I can honestly say it was one of the best Indian meals I have had. If there is anyone out there looking for a decent Indian, I can recommend you try this one. You won't be dissappointed.
I believe they also do take aways.

Monkey Puzzle Restaurant
IHP, Marlborough Rd, IlfracombeFantastic food, lovely friendly staff, excellent decor with cosy booths, standard tables or high bar tables. Great selection of beers wines, spirits and soft drinks. Play zone with PS5, Switch and PC to entertain kids of all ages. Pool tables, Ping pong tables and a huge soft play area too! A wonderful place to enjoy time with family and friends or celebrate an occasion. Highly, highly recommended!

Tried plenty of dishes, my go to is the mixed biriani - flavours are perfect and the consistency is bang on every time.
Friendly and polite owners /staff - nothings too much trouble.
Best in town for sure, and not had a better biriani anywhere to date.

Seaside Hill, Combe Martin, IlfracombeDidnt eat. Kid friendly. Had some entertainment on. Had drinks only. Carpark near by with electric charging point. Is quite small so may be difficult in peak but we had no problems.

We'd booked a table in this dog friendly pub. We enjoyed really nice food served by some very cheery & friendly staff. A lovely pub in a perfect location.

61-62 High St, IlfracombeExcellent food. On the photo is the Monster Burger, Plan Hot Dog, Dougie Burger, Kids Pizza and Chips, Pork Dog and the Sharing Platter. Totally stuffed after eating it all but well worth it and the prices were fantastic.

2 Fore St, IlfracombeThis is a dog-friendly pub not far from the harbour, that does sirloin steak with chips & peas for under £15. They had sold out of the pork and the fish pie by 7pm, hence the steak. There were 3 tables eating, but it was 40 minutes before the steak arrived, by which time I'd finished my pint of Thatcher's Gold and my wife, her Stella. But we were in a hurry!

9 St James Pl, IlfracombeWe came across this little tea room yesterday. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The environment is very peaceful and relaxing. Everything is reasonably priced for a popular area. The coffee is good, and I recommend the baguettes, they are so fresh and worth every penny. There are singing birds all round and if you are still and quiet enough they will sit very close to you. Will definitely visit again when visiting.

Fore St, IlfracombeBack again for a pint and great little pub well stocked and very friendly. I believe they have new staff or owners but they were really great behind the bar. We ate here in June and food was amazing hot fresh and not the run of the mill drab stuff but some really exciting offerings and flavours.

The Carlton Hotel

2024 in Room 104. The hotel, food and service were brilliant. This room is too small for two people, but was very nice. I struggled to reach the clothes rail in the wardrobe it was much too high. We would certainly book the hotel again. All the staff we brilliant.

Right by a great pub.
Do try the morning swimming here, depending on the tides.

Hillsborough Rd, IlfracombeI haven't tried the food yet but many have and I'm told it's good. A nice beer garden and nice choice of real ales. I usually stop in with my dog and sit in the garden with a beer, inside does not allow dogs unfortunately.
