Always love it here. The food is amazing and the staff are always friendly. This time I got a half waffle with the raspberry pistachio and white chocolate ice cream. It’s always worth asking for a Belgian chocolate sauce in your choice of milk, white or dark chocolate as they are the highest quality chocolate sauces. I love that there is an option between a half waffle if you’re less hungry or a full waffle if you’re up for it. They also have an array of different milkshakes (made with their ice cream flavours), ice creams, baked treats and hot drinks.

Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of vegan and gluten free options available.

Better pizza than we've had at any chain ! The service man was very nice and it was only 15 mins for a dinner for four(although it was not busy at all). Prices are very worth it and there are good deals ! Would eat again.

5***** rating First time we have visited this evening and we truly were not disappointed. Amazing service, lovely warm, cosy feeling. Not rushed at all even though they were very busy. The food was perfect. Hot and lovely and fresh plus plenty of it. I booked for a Birthday meal for my partner and when we arrived they have decorated our table space with banner and balloons and also came out with a birthday cake and candles at the end which I didn’t order and I wasn’t charged for. The service really was above and beyond and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went there today 9th feb very busy but had read reviews all sounded lovely but we both ordered the carvery and I must say we were very disappointed The beef was very tough and the rest of the food was Luke warm so very disappointed and when my husband told the waitress she said beef was always a bit hit and miss oh well perhaps we just picked a bad day

The Old Mill Tea Room

Great place to have a cup of tea or hot chocolate. They have sandwiches and soup as well.
It is very cosy inside, there is a little garden outside too.

Kid-friendliness: They have placed a jug of water and glasses for anyone who feels thirsty after the delicious cake. I liked that little detail that gives a feeling of being welcome there.

My husband and I have lived in Dawlish for nearly 4 years. we kept saying we must go to Le Cygne. Today we finally made it. Thank you for excellent service, fantastic food, and the Dawlish Mule was amazing. A lovely environment and friendly staff. Thank you, you made our visit just perfect. We will be back. We visited this place on our Cornwall road trip, and I'm glad we did. I haven't seen such an amazing choice of cakes and pasties in a long time. Everything in the shop looks so delicious. I felt so overwhelmed that it was hard to choose just one of the cakes on offer in this shop. ? In the end, we got some scones, an apple pie, and a coffee cake. Each was better than the last, so moist and fluffy. We will definitely be returning. Dog-friendly as well ❤️

Well after not being in Dawlish for 25yrs we stumbled on this chip shop and I can see why their ratings are so good. We ordered 3 meals and each one of us absolutely enjoyed, all 3 fish were nicely lightly battered and tasted fantastic.
When we visit down here again it will definitely be on our stops and recommend to friends and family.

Lovely old pub in a quiet rural setting, just 3 minutes from the main road. Norma, the delightful landlady, couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our visit. If you like freshly caught seafood (Brixham) then you need to try their menu. We were tempted by everything on the Specials Board but settled for Scallop linguine and the Hake; really tasty, as was the Hunter's Chicken breast. Drinks and coffee but couldn't manage a pud, though we'll definitely make room on a return visit!
