Great old fashioned pub with excellent Sunday Roasts - good beer too!

Food and drinks: Only Sunday Roasts available on a Sunday but they were very good with plenty of desserts to choose from.

The Duck at Yeoford

Read about this pub/restaurant in a magazine where it was highly rated so felt we must try it for Sunday lunch.

We were not disappointed.

Lovely surroundings, friendly efficient waitress and super tasty well presented food. Good wine list at sensible prices.

Definately planning on a re-visit and even better it is less than an hour on the train from Tiverton Parkway!

Baobab Cafe

Utterly lovely cafe. Nice setting on the market squre. Great choice of music (unobtrusively playing), good cuppa and lots of very friendly interaction. What a great place, if I lived here I would be in every day.

The Kitchen @25

Went in today for lunch with my partner. Service was good and I browsed the local produce for sale as we waited for our lunch. A great selection of cheese and local produce from biscuits and chilli sauces to cakes and jams.I ordered a BLT which came with crisps and coleslaw and a lovely salad on the side. The bacon was delicious and the portion size was very filling. My partner had a jacket potato which she said she thoroughly enjoyed. The man serving was very helpful when I wanted to try one of the cheeses. I ended up buying local cheese and snacks for later. Would highly recommend anyone to try. Will be going again for sure. Well done.

The New Inn

Stopped for lunch at the spur of the moment heading home to the New Forest and the service was perfect and lunch was very tasty. The Landlord even brought out a sausage for my golden retriever so he didn't miss out. Definitely will stop there again.

The Old Malt Scoop Inn

The local roads, infrastructure and surroundings appear to be suffering from a lack of maintenance and investment, and the old Southern Railway nickname for the area as
the "withered arm", still seems very apt even today. However the Taw Valley scenery and its tranquility are stunning, and the Old Malt Scoop Inn is very welcoming both as an eatery and a local pub. A varied menu, reasonably priced (2024) and both the quality of the food and the service excellent.

Visited this pub while on a motorcycle ride on the 18 & 19 sept for food and a couple of beers and I have to say we wasnt disappointed on any counts, and a big shout out to the bar and waiting on staff who were very friendly and helpful... ??

Thelbridge Cross Inn

This is an amazing place to stay for a few days. The landlady is a total delight. So kind, no words to describe it. The Sunday Roast is a plate we will not forget so easily. The Thelbridge Cross Inn is an iconic landmark in this gorgeous area.Rooms: The rooms have all what you need. The bed is good.Food & drinks: The menu has it all. The Sunday Roast is perfect.

Ashton's Coffee Lounge

Clearly popular with locals. A pleasant outside seating area on the square. Good coffee, toasted melts and soup of the day. Efficient and friendly crew under pressure on a busy market day in this attractive. Doggy friendly inside and out. ????

Wow! What a gem of a place, I'm amazed how tasty the food from here is... quick burger & chips for lunch totally out-classed restaurant food by a country mile.

Pop in here give your taste buds a treat (and your belt a stretch ?)

Cairney's Bistro

Happened to be passing through Crediton and so pleased there was availability at this restaurant Food was delicious. Well priced food and drink. Warm welcome Perfect evening Only open Friday and Saturday evenings. You are able to bring your own wine for £1 corkage. We didn’t but the wine list had all the familiar favourites on it. Rioja, Merlot , Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Chateauneuf du Pape. Just missing a Malbec but I was happy with gin ? Pictures are of the duck rolls, pear and blue cheese salad, lamb - melt in your mouth , crème brûlée and apple crumble. Couldn’t recommend enough ! So enjoyable

The Red Lion

Had a Sunday lunch with our group of 17 people here today. Good mix of food offered from standard Sunday lunch ,pork or beef, fish and chips, belly of pork, mushroom and brie Wellington, and tuscan chicken. All served quite quickly, given the number of us there. All the meals were very good. Deserts are also good, apple crumble, profiteroles ,fruit pudding with either custard or ice cream or choice of ice cream flavours.

Saffron Indian Takeaway

Been here a few times now and am always impressed by the quality of food and portion sizes. My boy tried it tonight for the first time and it’s become his favourite instantly.

The Crediton Inn

It's nice little boozer with some local cask Ales. Ales are good but could be better. Landlord is very polite and accommodating. Very impressive whisky selection too. Had 16 year old Fettercairn 2022 and it was great.

The Trawler's Catch

Wednesday lunchtime, battered sausage, chips and curry sauce. Good price and service. Was not keen on the screens over the counter. Chips could have been hotter.

Crediton Tandoori Restaurant & Take Away

My favourite local curry, always friendly and welcoming. Food is full of flavour, only criticism is they lack the kick of spice compared with other restaurants. That’s personal taste as apparently I have an asbestos mouth! ?

Costa Coffee (Crediton)

Lovely café. Always nice vibe. Friendly staff.Helpful and supportive.It's an ideal location for a friend and I so we always use this as our meeting point.Very clean. Very tidy.

Fabulous date night with lots of delicious food - especially loved the white pizza (balsamic onions were genius!), courgette fritters, garlic bread & tiramisu- such a great vibe, attentive staff - supper accommodating and really lovely view overlooking the garden.

Very good little cafe upstairs at the back 0f Crediton tesco. Quite good range of hot and cold drinks with a good range of food running from small snacks to light meals. Can get a little crowded at times.

Yummy Tummy Thainese

Ordered a range of meals for home delivery. Staff were incredibly polite on the phone. Food arrived in good time and still hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend

Love the petrol here , the unleaded v-power is my firm favorite. I can relax in the knowledge that shell scientists have spent decades researching ways to help you get more out of every drop.Only complaint is they get upset if one tries drinking the petrol directly from the pump. They want to revise there policy on this. I’ve heard the eBay click and collect is causing some issues with larger packages, not affected me personally as I’m a homeless tramp

Pinar Kebab

Have ordered before and has always been ok. Tonight I was very impressed. My daughter tried the chicken burger and it was larger than expected and she said it was very good ( she is super fussy). I had the doner wrap, which was very moist and very well made ( I asked for certain things not to be put in and they got it spot on). Chips were great as always and delivery was much quicker than I expected.
