Absolutely the best pub in Brixham - don't expect it to be plush , it's a great down to earth fisherman's pub . The landlords Donna & Ian are salt of the earth guys. It's a 'what you see is what you get ' place . No airs & graces just lots of friendly people ?
Just to say I am the landlady of this pub the carpets are not down to us to replace. The sign was ment to be wrong as how pirates speak guess you didn't get that toilets 1 toilet is broken which was broken during pirate festival the other is not a toilet its padlocked as it is the cleaning cupboard cant have been bad to spend 4 hours here .the gent from torquay we only sell 1 ale which is jail ale dont sell tribute .

On the quayside with a few tables outside. Inside is traditional but could be decorated better. The landlord is very droll but ok when we got used to him. Point 3 on the sign above and behind the bar says "No bitching". The landlord obviously has not read it. He told us immediately on entering "no food" and that it's a fishermans pub. Not welcoming at all but we found him amusing.
