The Prince William is a gem of a restaurant in Brixham, owned by an Italian who has elevated British pub life to a new level, reminiscent of the Crazy Bear style. Guests can enjoy the stunning harbour views and sunshine from the large terrace, from morning until sunset. The menu offers a great selection, and diners can't go wrong with any of the dishes. The steak is very well-cooked, accompanied by delicious oven-baked vine tomatoes, while the steak and ale pie is yummy, served with a delicious oven-baked cauliflower cheese and perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables. The Thai fish cakes are also a delight, and there's even a great food menu for dogs. The highlight is the best Irish Coffee in town, made by the super-friendly barman Mike, who also whips up a great Espresso Martini. The onion rings are a must-try, probably the best ever tasted. The restaurant is always busy, a testament to its great beer, very good food, choice menu, and sensible prices. Outdoor seating with stunning harbour views makes it a perfect spot for a relaxing catch-up, especially during the weekends when booking is recommended.
