Went to Odyssey on Saturday 23/11/24 as a group of four for a special occasion. The food was great, it was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Very clean restaurant and facilities with a lovely atmosphere but above all the service was another level some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. A must visit if in Chesterfield we will be back

2nd visit after a 4 year gap (First review below). Don't no why I left it so long as the food seemed even better and with bigger portions than last time. Everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. We went for lunch on a Saturday just after opening so wasnt many customers in nevertheless the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend anyone who likes Turkish grill.

Great food, good people, fast and polite service and super price. What more can you ask for. We'll recommend

Came to this lovely place in an amazing setting for a special Birthday celebration. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was just perfect ? The food was absolutely brilliant. The wood fired pizzas were massive!! And soooo tasty!! All the food we ordered was great. And the cocktails!! What can I say? The blood bath cocktail had to be tried. It was a funny experience and well worth it for the laughs. I would totally recommend this place if you're in the area or visiting like we were. 10 out of 10 from me ??

We booked 3 family rooms and were more than adequate for our needs. Comfy beds, clean and quite large really. We had Sunday lunch and it was good value, tasty and served with a smile. Iv'e rarely stayed in a hotel with such a varied entertainment program, the forecast listed on the information boards was amazing. Exceptionally family friendly and ideal for extended family gatherings - cot provided etc. A shout out to the Manager who was outstanding with us. Thank you

We came here to meet some friends for tea on a Sunday. The Sunday roast stops serving at 4pm so we ordered off the al a carte menu instead. I went for the chicken schnitzel and my partner had the chicken pappardelle, both were delicious!! For pudding we shared the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and again absolutely gorgeous.

Really cosy feel to the place, was quiet as a Sunday evening but would happily return as the service was top notch too. Sorry I didn’t take any photos of the food. Doh!

Parking: The front car park is small, however the car park at the back offers more space. If that is full, there is a residential street opposite the back entrance which can be used.

Excellent food. Excellent surroundings. Really authentic. Best restaurant in Chesterfield. Very reasonable food prices. Service always with a smile, thai staff. I have visited this lovely cafe on several occasions and it has always been very comfortable and relaxed. Food and service also excellent. I have been in when there have been dogs in before so it is dog friendly. The lady in the previous reviews who said her dog only barked once today was incorrect. The dog, as lovely and cute as it was, was barking as soon as it arrived. It did settle down for a bit but then was barking on snd off for the duration of the stay for no reason, nothing to do with another dog being there. The cafe staff was very polite when they asked if she could take the dog outside, there is seating area under cover available. I love dogs and certainly don’t have a problem with them in cafes. However we couldn’t hear ourselves speak at times due to the barking. Yes I am the third lady on the table of 3 and have only spoken my truth as I found it.

Its a bit dark inside but please do not let this put you off! Party of 10 ate here last night It was for an 80th birthday and the whole evening went very smoothly with no problems. We all found the food very, very good!! Everyone loved it. My Dad said it was the best steak he'd eaten in a very long time!. To serve 10 people so smoothly with zero problems at all and staff that showed care and attention is quite rare. Thank you to all as the meal was a very good start to our Birthday weekend.

We enjoyed;

Fresh coffees (£3.80)- these went down a treat
Freshly Baked Croissants served with butter & preserves (£3.25) – these were warm and crisp and a great start to our breakfast
Full English (£15.00); free range scrambled eggs, prime pork Sausage, dry curry bacon, homemade black pudding, mushroom, tomatoes & baked beans with sourdough toast – the way the breakfast is presented is appealing & positively misleading, it looked a small portion but boy is it filling! The thickest cut bacon ever, lovely cubed black pudding, scrambled eggs made with cream. VERY good indeed.
Eggs Benedict (£14.00); 2 poached free range eggs with smoked bacon and homemade Hollandaise sauce on toasted Brioche – the yolk pop says it all, the eggs were for me pure perfection.
This is a gorgeous, smart country pub that also hosts tasting menu evenings and other events, and I hope to return again in the future. After our breakfast here, we visited Chatsworth Estate only 15 min drive away for a 6 mile walk. What a lovely day

We had the fish and chips Friday special, and special it was. A generous portion of fresh white fish in crisp batter. My wife’s request for light batter was cheerfully met, proving that everything is freshly cooked to order. The chips were delicious and the plate was nicely presented and very appetising. Two of us ate and had a drink for £22.00, a bargain indeed. We’ve booked to return for Sunday lunch with a friend at the end of the month.

I was visiting my brother so first time getting food here , the chap taking my order wasn't very chatty and it was two different sauce on separate kebabs and i asked him to mark the box so i knew what dox was what , he didn't mark it so getting home we then had to start looking .
Only one other person in the shop.and he he looked nervous tapping his feet and talking on his phone in anger god know what language it was and found out he was the delivery man .
The food it self was pk pita at the bottom folded with the meat on top then the salad then a pot of sauce in the middle.
On the menu it only says med large no small kebabs ? But the one i got wasn't med and definitely not large it was small compared to the normal places i go ,
Found out on my return back home that there are two other kebab shops in the village so i will be giving this shop a miss in the future .

Have gotten my lunch from Uppercrust for some time now, the food quality has always remained consistent which is something I am very pleased about. The prices are very reasonable and I'm glad that a family business such as this one is in Chesterfield.

Went through the drive through for a much needed coffee after being up all night with my poorly son, the team member was so lovely and her customer service was exceptional, she gave me the best compliment as a mum who is exhausted and told me ‘I was smashing it as far as she could see’ small things make people’s day.
She had red hair in pig tails and I am so grateful she served me this morning.

I'm new to Chesterfield, but I've been a purveyor of high-quality Chinese food for many years. My fiance suggested the Dynasty. I was starving, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered wonton Soup, which has become impossible to get these days. The quality of the dumplings (wontons) was exquisite, as was the soup. The salt and ? chilli dry spare ribs were cooked well. Tender and juicy. The special curry had some nice meats ? in it. The chicken and beef were delicious; I could care less for the curry sauce that the food sat in; it wasn't high quality. The vegetables were good crispy crunchy and plentiful. And finally, one of my favourite dishes. Singapore chilli Vermicelli special noodles ? with mixed meat and vegetables. This was cooked to perfection in every way. I would highly recommend this restaurant. And to top it all, I ordered a takeout. This restaurant is an all-you-can-eat. Normally, all you can eat restaurants in my previous experience offer low quality foods that have been sitting around for a while or food cooked earlier that nobody has eaten yet. I have a restaurant near me in Ollerton called the Paddi fields. Their food is always low quality and tasteless. Not the case at Dynasty; everything was cooked fresh and ready in 10 minutes.

Parking: A decent car park is available

Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is very wide. I'm not sure if the venue is all on one floor. It may have been but its worth checking.

With this place however; looking at the margaretta image slice on the menu, I'm nor getting my full value for money for margaretta. (Plus I can taste too much of the bread)+ other reasons though I'm too confused on to honestly share. ?‍?️Layout: 4.5/5 Great location on this side of Chesterfield. Has all the functions, a size for a good sub branch.Bathroom in good enough shape.Note that it has what feels like the world coldest hand dryer.(At least it's great for summer, a cooling piper hot cocos)?Also, the taps could do with a warning on how quickly the warm one gets going.

We have been to the Holme Hall a few times for food. It is always delicious and well served. Booked our Mum's wake there. Rachel and her team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was awesome. A great variety and perfectly served. The pub also has disabled access, which enabled all our family to attend and remember our Mum. We are booking our family's Christmas meal there too. We would definitely recommend it.

First time in the cafe/ bar. Very welcoming owner who explained what they served and opening hours. We sat upstairs which had a tasteful decor , very clean toilets and plenty of seating. The two cappuccinos we had including one decaff were excellent and you could taste the coffee and not just hot milk. We will try the bar on Saturday as there was a good choice of craft beers, lager and a local hand pump real ale.

The prices here are very typical for pubs nowadays but the food is most certainly not. Not only is the menu impressively varied with some south east Asian items not usually found alongside the traditional pub grub. The servings were very generous and the food was very high quality.

On top of the excellent food for reasonable prices, The Pig & Pump is also right across the road from surely Chesterfields main (possibly only) attraction, the wonky church spire.

Well worth popping in if you're visiting. 5/5

We only had starter and dessert, expecting a light bite, super generous portions, we were both stufty mcgrufty.......
