Especially from Esther who served a large party quickly, professionally and always with a lovely smile on her face. The food came out quickly and was delicious! 50 Spring Gardens, BuxtonWhat a great place. Was in Buxton for the weekend and went yo the Chakra Lounge for breakfast/brunch. Fabulous menu, wanted to try it all (will have to go back). Settled on vegan spice breakfast and iced chai oat latte. Soooo good! Staff were friendly, lovely quirky decor, dog friendly too. Got cake to take away as well (also fabulous). Very reasonably priced too. Thank you ?

Market Place, BuxtonWent here to watch Scotland and Hungary match, after 2 pubs previously said they weren't showing the Scotland game. I spoke to Katie and she said she would be more than happy to put the match in for me. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Friendly and attentive to all the customers.
If I'm visiting again I will make sure to return.

1 The Quadrant, BuxtonI've eaten here several times and it's been consistently delicious. Tonight I had the chicken liver starter and chicken with tarragon sauce as my main. Both were outstanding. I recommend booking rather than walking. They had to turn several people away tonight as they were so busy. We still got our food within a reasonable time despite how busy they were.

35 High St, BuxtonI was searching for a halal restaurant in Buxton travelling past from London and finally found the perfect spot to satisfy my cravings. I ordered a lamb curry with naan and plain rice, and it was delicious, I also ordered a buttermilk chicken. The restaurant even included an extra portion of rice and naan for me to take home with my leftovers.
As it was my first visit, they kindly offered me a complimentary ice cream, which was a lovely touch and tasted amazing! The service was excellent, and the location is conveniently situated on a high street with plenty of parking.
The only minor drawback was that the lamb was slightly tougher than I prefer, as I usually opt for softer cuts. However, overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great curry experience.

Except for the staff, some are surly, some are pleasant. At Buxton, they are all pleasant. There are plenty of regulars, so it must be doing something right.
If higher management see this. Your premises need tarting up a bit and your staff need a raise.

One massive problem, it’s so so cold in there, it’s uncomfortably cold, when we went in I noticed other customers wearing coats, i understand it’s an old building but my gosh it’s Baltic, we didn’t have a puddings as we couldn’t stand it any longer

Upon entering, we met the proprietor's father and mother in law. The family was warm and welcoming as we were seated. The food was made to order using fresh ingredients. A member of my group chose the Greek Panini. I selected the beef & bacon meatballs with pasta in tomato and garlic sauce.
Everything was wonderful. If you are ever in Buxton, look this café / deli up for a real treat.

I’m still to work my way through the full menu (& I will) but the dishes I have sampled so far have been wonderful. Now I don’t mind a wait especially in such calm surroundings and for good food, it can be busy which is no surprise because the food is cooked with care and absolutely delicious. It’s the place the locals flock to so you know it’s good.

Main St, Chelmorton, BuxtonAn absolute hidden gem and my absolute favourite pub in all of Derbyshire. Always a pleasure to go to and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Lovely log fire and an amazing atmosphere, the beer and food are spectacular.
If you have never been then I would recommend you go there and visit. Dog friendly too, always a bonus.

Church Ln, Litton, Buxtonoh my gosh, my friend and I have been for lunch today and agreed this was the nicest meal we had had in years and years! we both had Ossobuco, the meat melted in my mouth, the sauce was divine.. with creamy mash and crispy cabbage.. huge portions.. finished with the most delicious home made sticky toffee pudding to die for.. with fabulous lagers and the fire on. Perfect day off. The chefs here are OUTSTANDING thank you xx

The gardens are well kept, clean and tidy.
There is a small train, loved by children and adults, that does a circuit of the centre of the gardens.

9 Concert Pl, BuxtonWe went for the first time to celebrate a birthday. The three of us had different starters and different mains. All of the food was fab. It says it all. Absolutely beautiful meals, the service and atmosphere were great as well. Very clean place and reasonably prices. It is a small menu however it is perfectly done and there is a variety for every taste. We tried lamb, chicken and pasta for mains. For starters we had prawns, calamari and chorizo, couldn’t tell you which was best because they were all fab. Good quality wine and nice beer, what else could you ask for? Thank you.
