The food was absolutely superb, with fantastic flavours and spice which were never dominated by heat. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, despite the various shenanigans of some of our crowd.

Duffield Bank, Duffield, BelperThe establishment was very welcoming and friendly. It was a relaxing atmosphere, on a wet thundery night outside, with service standards to a high. Despite a special plate not being available due to shortage (clearly a favourite of the evening) , there was plenty more to choose from and the dishes were extremely tasteful. I will be returning at some point , be it I book or casually drop it, as it's now a favourite to go.

Such a beautiful restaurant so unique and the owners are so very friendly but the food is amazing and not expensive.will definitely be returning and soon

Tarka Dahl, aloo gobi , sag paneer was gorgeous..so nice to taste the spinach..and not creamed.. veg jalfrezi was tasty,lots.of diff veggies may be too spicy hot..and we like spicy or thought we did lol. Plenty left for the freezer.too. a lovely touch getting a complimentary naan bread

We shared some fish cakes to start and then had a chicken green curry and a fish dish, whose name I’ve forgotten! All very tasty. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has an upstairs mezzanine floor, where we were seated ; great for watching everyone else ?

Ambergate, BelperCame here as a group of 4 for lunch. We had already booked a table and were seated straight away. The service was very friendly and efficient with full table service. Nice ambience and not too busy. We all had the Sunday carvery which was probably the best Sunday lunch I have had in a long time (we all said the same)So fresh and plentiful. This place is a must visit. Would definitely recommend. We will be back for sure.

75 Bridge St, BelperWas looking for a place to eat as we arrived in town quite late and this was the only place serving food. But it was AMAZING! We ordered a chicken bbq pizza, chicken tenders with chips, a garlic cheese bread, and a 2 piece chicken meal thing. The pizza was amazing, the chicken tenders were hit and delicious, but the garlic cheese bread was absolute perfection. I've never had better anywhere else.

Can’t fault the food at all it was delicious, we even had leftovers and ate them the next day and it was just as good!They even wrote “his and hers” on the orders, so cute!!

They are always busy in the phones but have a very polite young girl taking the orders. Highly recommended! A++++++

The food was outstanding. and the staff even though it was busy both nights they did an outstanding job. Definitely would recommend it's definitely a 10 out of 10 from us

Spanker Ln, BelperWe visited this lovely pub on a Sunday afternoon for a Sunday lunch, and a couple of drinks. We found the building to be beautiful and old, the tables were all set out nicely with enough space between them for dogs and prams etc. The staff were attentive, polite and well presented. The roasts were delicious, with extra proper gravy being an option which was very much appreciated. The atmosphere was warm and cosy and the seats were comfortable. We can't fault the place! We highly recommend this pub for meals and drinks with family and friends. A really competitive price for such gorgeous food - you won't regret trying this one out, we'll certainly be back.

18 Bridge St, BelperService was polite but upon arrival there were about 6 people waiting in random areas and there was no way of knowing who had been served and who hadn't. I waited at least 10 mins for 2 fish and chips. Their policy is to cook small batches but often, it is worth the wait. Really enjoyed the food and would definitely call in again when passing. Parking and queuing could be a problem especially at busy times.

Friendly customers who made us feel welcome. Big beer garden at the rear, and as the name suggests handy for the railway station.

71 Bridge St, BelperHad such a great experience at The Devonshire, while on holiday in the Peaks. The staff are so friendly and great with the dog. The dog was given water, a few snacks and lots of attention throughout our visit. Food was incredible, great choice of menu and all good value for money. We even came back another night, we enjoyed it so much. Even while super busy, the experience was the same!

Armando's Restaurant at The Talbot Hotel
Bridge Foot, BelperWe had dinner in this edge of town location. We loved the italian food choices, the atmosphere and the helpful and attentive staff. The Grade 2 listed building has a number of stairs to climb to arrive at the dining room but there is an alternative short route from the car park, which i am sure could be used for patrons with mobility problems. We discovered there are two car parks, one immediately on the right of the building plus one over the road. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
