24 Swanwick Rd, Leabrooks, AlfretonJust been in I had a small chips and cheese and my mate had a large donner meat and chips with mint yogurt we both struggled to finish they always give you more than what you pay for , you could actually taste the mint sauce but it wasn’t too overpowering, the donner meat tasted fresh straight off the lamb and the chips were crispy and fluffy absolutely phenomenal will definitely be going again every Friday ?

19 Mansfield Rd, AlfretonI fell upon this chip shop by chance about 5 months ago and it really is terrific! It's a family business who are very friendly. The food is delicious. My go to is chicken meat with chips and mushy peas and it's always fantastic and at a reasonable price.

114 High St, AlfretonWe dropped in Star Kebab and Pizza House on the way home on Friday night having been here once before a couple of years ago. The food is still amazing and cooked fresh to order. I had the mixed kebab special and my wife had the chicken and lamb special. To be fair the mixed one would have done for the pair of us as the portions are really good. The service was warm and friendly too. Would 100% recommend and be going back.

If you're traveling from further afield It's only a 10min drive East from junction 28 on the M1 motorway ...
The staff are very friendly, with a good selection of beers on offer... there's also food available...
Call in if you're in the area, it's well worth a visit...

Back Ln, Wessington, AlfretonThey are by far the best in the local area. I travel from Crich to get them as they beat every other local chip shop hands down. The thing I like is that they are not greasy (like the others) and are very consistent in quality. The car buzzer system helps when it's busy, so you don't have to wait around queuing and the staff are very friendly.

Mansfield Rd, DerbyshireGreat experience. We had our 10 month old grandson with us and needed somewhere to feed him. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us some hot water to heat up his food. They also refunded us a chicken wrap which turned out to be a bit too spicy. We didn’t complain but they picked up on the fact that we hadn’t eaten it all and immediately offered a refund. A special mention for Chelsea who was cheerful and courteous making it a lovely afternoon for us all.

The Delves, Swanwick, AlfretonWe recently had a funeral wake at the Gate Inn and from our first enquiry Michelle couldn't have been more helpful. The service was very early at Amber Valley Crematorium which we thought would make refreshments difficult but Michelle suggested breakfast Cobs & cake, a great idea which proved very popular with everyone who attended. Communication was great prior to the day, the buffet was spot on and very good value so I would highly recommend the Gate to anyone looking for a venue especially after a service at Swanwick Crematorium due to its location close by. The help and advice provided greatly reduced the stress involved in arranging the wake and was key to making the day run smoothly despite the difficult circumstances. Thank you.

Great welcome and the real ale as good as ever, the right temperature, crystal clear and served with a smile.A typical English pub, good selection of beers and spirits, no food, but if I wanted food I'd go to the chippy.Well done Edward for keeping the standards high.

unit 12/12a, East Midlands Designer Outlet, Mansfield Rd, AlfretonI love wagamama, but recently I moved and please can you tell me how come wagamama in Alfreton will not deliver to ALFRETON????.....WTH!!!.... so I can no longer get my noodles delivered by a restaurant in the same town as me... what sense does that make!!.... makes none to me!.... and i am gutted, I only moved up the road a little and it's even still in the same postcode DE55 area...
But no!!... they will not deliver to my new address.... it's a travesty!.... to me anyway!...lol.... so only one star for service even though it should be 5 *....
So please wagamama!!!.... at least deliver to the same town and postcode that you're in....
Oh!... and I'm disabled and don't drive, so cannot pick my order up neither..... it's just not fair wagamama, deliver my noodles please....
Wheelchair accessibility: You can't food from here delivered so ya best get ya wheelchair out and start off pushing, set off early though to get your noddles in time, but they probably be cold by time ya get home....

Decided to stay and eat in and quickly received our food. Prices are extremely high & Staff aren’t very pleasant in my opinion apart from with what seems to be regulars or people they already know
For me it’s not a nice meal/or a friendly environment. It’s not somewhere I would recommend & don’t ever since the few occasions I have tried.
Frying squad in south Normanton is the best chippy, friendly chatty staff, reasonable prices, yummy food, varied menu and good quality. :)

82 Main St, Newton, AlfretonI booked on line and showed up soon after without any notice.The staff are really frendly and made up the room on the spot, which i really appreciated.The bar is really welcoming and a great place to wind down after fatigue from driving. The locals are nice (even to an Aussie - haha).The room was clean and good value.So overall really nice stay. Thanks.

Hall St, AlfretonIt’s always a lovely place to come and see friends or talk to the workers here. They are all very lovely and they are kind. It always seems busy in here which is fantastic because they get quite a lot of regulars come into the cafè.
It’s a fantastic place to bring children because children eat for free on the clubcard which is one reason why people come back to the cafè.
I have always liked the customer service that they offer and they are an Amazing team.
Vegetarian options: There is quite a lot of vegetarian options.
Kid-friendliness: They always make the children feel welcome into the cafè.
