Lowther Castle Inn
Lowther Castle Inn, Hackthorpe, Penrith3 of us motoring South on the old A6, stopped on spec and were not disappointed. Although too late for Sunday lunch, we received a warm welcome & then the hardest job was deciding which of the many tempting dishes on the regular menu to choose. The star was definitely the Double Cheeseburger.
