The Abbey Kitchen
Midtown Stores, Main St, Shap, PenrithBeautiful breakfast, amazing quality ingredients. Staff were fabulous and so attentive. They even brought over activities for my toddler. We took a few slices of cake for the road and they were delicious too. Will definitely be back on our next trip out. Thank

Crown Inn at Shap
3NL Main Street, PenrithGreat spot to camp along the Coast to Coast. The camping pods are a lovely break from having to pitch a tent. Ask about laundry services, as it's also the perfect time to get clothes laundered and dried.

The Strickland Arms
Great Strickland, PenrithLovely place to stay and eat, owners are friendly and the food is delicious. The accommodation was clean and tidy and perfect for what we needed. Best of all it is very dog friendly both in the pub and in the accommodation. Next time we are in the area we will definitely use again.
