Smatt's Duo
32 Main St, SedberghGreat café. Reasonable prices. Generous portions.
I had a large bowl of carrot and coriander soup which was delicious and piping hot. It was served with a large, very fresh brown roll. Husband had a bowl of chips, which again was a generous portion. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely visit again.

Sun Inn
Main St, Dent, SedberghCracking traditional free house in the heart of a very nice village. It’s not easy to get to but it’s worth it. Really friendly behind the bar. About 5 ales on? One I had was lovely. Has 2 dart boards and 2 darts teams (Mr T plays for one of them) doesn’t do food but doesn’t miss it as beer is spot on and has character in abundance. Very highly recommended ? ? ?♂️ ?

Cross Keys Temperance Inn
Cautley, SedberghVisited for an evening meal.Food & drinks: We had a lovely meal in peaceful surroundings and were made extremely welcome. I'd spent the day running my first marathon and it was a great place to relax with family and to refuel.Noteworthy details: Saw a woodpecker on the fence outside the conservatory where we sat!

The Tea Room
Farfield Mill, Garsdale Rd, SedberghWe travelled to the Tea Room at Farfield Mill at the last minute, and without having had lunch before we set off.The menu wasn't extensive, but was more than adequate to suite most needs, and the service was first class! The lady that brought out our meals was friendly and helpful, and obviously enjoyed her work. The adjacent table had a very friendly dog, so it was nice to see that dogs were welcome. Our table was decorated with fresh wild flowers which topped off what was a thoroughly pleasant experience.

The Moorcock Inn
Garsdale Head, SedberghLovely tea room with great coffee and homemade cakes. Indoor or outdoor seating, in a nice location. Sadly the pub itself is now closed, but lives on as this tea room that sells beer. Definitely worth a stop, great service from the ladies that run it.
