Smatt's Duo
32 Main St, SedberghWe really enjoyed our breakfast here - no nonsense food at great prices. We didn't think we'd get a table but they squeezed us in. Food was hot and timely, coffee was tasty. I think we'd return for lunch too.

Sun Inn
Main St, Dent, SedberghStayed here for the night after a days hiking with my mate. We was informed that the other pub was closed so the manager kindly made us some food which we were very grateful for. The rooms are old but very clean and comfortable especially considering the Low cost to stay overnight. Will definitely stay again, manage was fantastic and very friendly and pub atmosphere was great.

The Moorcock Inn
Garsdale Head, SedberghIn September this year I hurt myself whilst walking on the hills and falling over in very wet weather.Due to my injury my husband and I, with our dog, missed our train and so we decided to pop into the Moorcock Tearoom. We had such a warm welcome from the two wonderful women running the cafe and enjoyed an hour of chat and laughter with a glass of wine and sweet potato chips.Thank you so much to you both at the Moorcock Tearoom, you cheered us up with your laughter and warm hospitality.

The Tea Room
Farfield Mill, Garsdale Rd, SedberghWe travelled to the Tea Room at Farfield Mill at the last minute, and without having had lunch before we set off.The menu wasn't extensive, but was more than adequate to suite most needs, and the service was first class! The lady that brought out our meals was friendly and helpful, and obviously enjoyed her work. The adjacent table had a very friendly dog, so it was nice to see that dogs were welcome. Our table was decorated with fresh wild flowers which topped off what was a thoroughly pleasant experience.

The Red Lion
3 Finkle St, SedberghWow what a lovely little gem of a pub! We stopped in for lunch - really down to earth friendly vibe. the bartender was lovely and really attentive. Food was incredible, and lots of places say food is homemade but you can tell it’s not, this is definitely homemade using really good quality fresh produce. I had the steak and ale pie & chips and the other half had the all day breakfast, both absolutely delicious. Proper log fire burning and incredible drinks selection - Real ale served in proper jugs as well, I could go on… if you’re ever in the area definitely give this place a go, these guys know hospitality :)
