Mawson's Ice Cream Parlour
Drigg Rd, SeascaleI would really recommend a visit. We visited 3 times over the weekend, we got Breakfast takeaway and then sat in for lunch twice. 7 people and no complaints from anyone. The ice cream and milkshakes were particularly good and to top it off if your lucky enough to sit in a window seat the views are great.

The Wild Olive
Croft Foot Cottage, Gosforth, SeascaleHad a takeout pizza, it was delicious! Really flavoursome and fresh, quality ingredients used. Phone ahead to be allocated a spot though, even for takeout. Best pizza I’ve had for ages.

Ritson's Bar (Wasdale Head Inn)
Wasdale Head Inn, Wasdale Head, SeascaleMy favourite pub in the UK. Perfect for a pint and a burger after climbing one of the many surrounding peaks. The adjoined Hotel also offers camping on the field opposite and was only £8 a night. Toilets and showers were to the rear of the building.
