Archway Fish & Chips
36 Market St, Kirkby StephenFriendly staff and welcoming when I entered. The staff allowed me to look at the menu before ordering and where not pushing for a sale. The food ordered was cooked from fresh. The fish was excellent and tasted lovely. Food was still hot returning to the campsite. Our dog loved his battered sausage and gravy also, so highly recommend this Fish & Chip shop if you are in the area.Parking: Parking was just on the high street in bays. Very close to the chip shop

Brysons Bakery & Coffee Shop
37 Market St, Kirkby StephenBusy, well stocked and with friendly staff. The pasties are good, and cakes are good. The sandwich was a little bit of a let down though, bread not very fresh, and barely any Mayo.
