A592, Glenridding, PenrithNo longer the beckside now the “ullswater inn” bene done up and completely different to photos shown. Lovely dog friendly restaurant (more restaurants interior with a pub style) beautifully decorated , food good but a little higher priced but you’re right on the dockside and in the surroundings so expected. £41 two meals two drinks , 1 soft. Holiday prices.

Ramblers Bar and the Candleroom
Ullswater, Glenridding, PenrithJust had the most amazing chicken pot pie with mushrooms a lush gravy. We were 3 minutes past 2.30 pm, and the chef made an exception and cooked 2 of those mouth-watering dishes... The dishes were well seasoned, hot on arrival, and well presented with multi-coloured carrots and a thick pot of gravy. It's definitely a stop over for anyone in the area! Cost... £20 each and it was worth every penny!!! The staff are friendly and customer service focused. The place is clean, tidy, and well decorated! A plus for me... the wooden carved figurine of Tintin, the famous French reporter comic character!!! Brilliant!!!
