Stopped for a pint whilst on a great walk. Friendly female staff served me and assisted on my choice of drink.
Inside was quite full with people eating food which looked quite nice.
I sat outside as the weather was nice and it’s set in a nice little area surrounded by traditional lakes cottages.

Beautiful Place, best view from a cafe I've ever seen!
Super friendly, quick service, lovely little shop, wonderful peaceful atmosphere and it actually had a changing table for our baby which is so unusual in period properties!

Fabulous fish and chips at a reasonable locally competitive price for an ‘In season’ trading period. Took them down to the public ventures at Coniston Boating Centre and had a lovely alfresco fish and chip supper at the Waters edge.

Great food and many glutenfree options. I highly recommend trying the gf fish and chips or the burger. Even glutenfree beer is on the menue. Feels like heaven to me :)
Staff is superfriendly and attentive, Service is fast.
The kitchen is doing excellent work.
