Shorecrest
1a Street Moritz Ct, WadebridgeI have to say I don’t post reviews very often but my wife, daughter and myself have just had a fantastic meal here in the restaurant at the St Moritz hotel. We come here every year and always have a great time. Last year we had a great meal in Cafe Rojano and the St Pedroc bistro in Padstow. We also had a terrific meal in the St Moritz hotel restaurant and it was definitely up there. So we are fussy about our food and like to spend a lot of money on food. The meal we just had in the restaurant in the St Moritz tonight was fab. I had a 3 course meal and each course was a delight and the whole meal was faultless. Not cheap but worth it and served by 3 wonderful young people. Highly recommended. I would put the quality as on a par with the meal we had in the St Pedroc last year and actually a more enjoyable meal overall.

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Rock
Rock Rd, Rock, WadebridgeStaying locally on holiday, we picked up breakfast and dinner from here a couple of times when heading out for the day.
You can tell how good it is from how busy it is, though with how efficient the friendly staff are, you're not waiting long before you get served.
There's a fantastic selection of baked food on offer and we really enjoyed everything we tried.
Definitely one to try if you get the chance.

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Molesworth Wadebridge
18 Molesworth St, WadebridgeAfter taking the challenge of having 1 pasty a day during our Cornwall holiday and inevitably sampling pasties from multiple bakeries (which had to supply gluten free options in order to be eligible), the family decided that the traditional pasties from Malcolm Barnecut were consistently at the top of the leaderboard (regular & GF pasties). They offer both freshly baked pasties (have to wait 1.5hrs though for gluten free - so plan ahead), or you can take frozen pasties home to bake in your oven (we tried both options & both were equally as good). Fantastic tasting pasties! ?

Camel Trail Cycle Hire
Eddystone Rd, WadebridgeA Wonderful Family Bike Ride on The Camel Trail We had a fantastic family day out on the Camel Trail, hiring bikes from The Camel Trail Cycle Hire in Wadebridge. It was the perfect activity for two adults and three children, offering an easy, scenic ride suitable for all ages. The trail itself is beautiful, with stunning views of the countryside, making the ride even more enjoyable. We stopped off in Padstow, a charming town with picturesque views of the harbour. The service from The Camel Trail Cycle Hire was excellent, and we even received a local discount, which was a lovely bonus. It was a memorable day, full of fresh air, beautiful scenery, and quality family time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the area! Kind regards, Emma and Dan Trethewey
