The best chinese! Everytime I come to Newquay I make sure to come here as a treat! All the dishes are very tasty and good portions. Only shame is the restaurant is very small and very difficult to get a table. Takeaway options good.

Retallack Resort and Spa Cornwall

We had a few days here for my brother's golden wedding anniversary. The location was very nice, as were the lodges. But they were let down by a number of niggly faults. Firstly, the hot tub was faulty and wasn't able to be used for the 2 fine days we were there. The oven had a fault and didn't fully work, the blind in my bedroom dropped to pieces when I tried to close it...and various other things. These were dealt with promptly by the staff, who were very helpful and pleasant, but, sadly, we had too many problems to make it an enjoyable stay. It seemed lacking in general maintenance.

Bloody good chippi, one of the best in the nation by far!
Decent sized chips and portion.
Big fish with batter cooked to perfection, for that crispy but not too crispy texture.
Sausages are 'the good ones' with no yucky aftertaste or mushy-greasy texture.

They're so good here I've actually used them almost every other night on my two week caravan trip down the road at Atlantic Reach. Lol.
They're just too good to pass up!
The locals seem to all frequently use both the takeaway and restaurant side too, which says everything!
Bloody good, I will miss them when I return home to lincolnshire.
