Food is fresh and delicious. Only some dishes aren't hot enough. Atmosphere is good, small but cosy. With this price, certainly value for money eating in a Michilen star restaurant. Worth a visit.

The food was very good - an excellent showcase of high quality local ingredients. As you would expect, the portion sizes are very small for a fine dining experience but we expected them to get somewhat bigger as you go down the menu towards the last couple of dishes. This was not the case. We didn’t leave hungry but we weren’t full. For the price, you would expect to receive somewhat more. The Bluefin Tuna with mint on the 12th of Oct was disappointing on taste. Nice experience but not the sort where you would return without hesitation.

Excellent find. Never spotted this place before. Lovely friendly local team and everything was indeed fresh from the sea. Always good to find somewhere small and local to support. We will be back with the next visitors who want to see Doc Martin's house!

What a lovely place. Stopped by on our walk from Port Quin for a lunch snack before heading back. The seafood soup was absolutely amazing. I have only had one other like that in many, many years.
Service was relaxed and friendly and beautiful setting in an old chapel with high ceilings.
Coffee was great too, just sad we missed the scones that were being baked again in the afternoon and were going to be ready in 30 minutes but we needed to head off.

First visit. Can't wait to come back. Wonderful little find. Some of the best pizza I've eaten and I'm including Italy in that. Don't miss the sides. We shared a beetroot & goats cheese salad that was also amazing. It's a real gem ?

Starter, main, and desert were outstanding, though somewhat overpriced. Every mouthful a delight on the palate. Really enjoyed the food. Wine was very good too. Service was perfunctory at best.

Fantastic food and really attentive service. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. It’s a tapas style menu so served when ready but this added to the experience for us. It’s an open kitchen which we also liked. Very reasonably priced for the service and fresh produce we had. Would highly recommend

The ice cream and fudge is absolutely delicious. Run and raisin that you can actually taste the rum. Vanilla that was probably the nicest ice cream I’ve ever had.

Being a BIG Doc Martin Fan we had to go to the pub that is featured in the program. And what a treat it was. Old and quirky with lots of little rooms. We managed to get a seat on the balcony where we enjoyed our beer and watched the people forraging in the rock pools whilst the tide was out. An absolute joy.

Apparently now under new management, we Visited twice during storm Darragh. The bar staff were so welcoming and provided us with the essentials; shelter and great cider! There was a roaring fire going and it is a lovely cosy pub. Just what was needed. We will definitely be back!
