The Globe Inn
3 North St, LostwithielWent for a meal this evening. Had excellent moules marinere. Good service. They also tell you where there produce comes from. All Cornish suppliers. Only downside was not a lot of choice for vegetarians like my wife.
Tasty veggie food is so easy to prepare and cook and these days it is becoming more popular than ever. Most dishes can utilise what the chefs already have in the kitchen.

Moonlight Tandoori
35 Fore St, LostwithielHad a meal here with friends on Saturday and we all agreed it was the best Indian food we had each had. The flavours were amazing in our variety of vegan, vegetarian and omni dishes. Great service too, the owner and his son are very friendly. Would definitely return when next in Cornwall.
Vegetarian options: The owner and his son were very helpful in guiding us to choose appropriate vegetarian and vegan options.

Royal Oak Inn
5 Duke St, LostwithielWe had a lovely welcome and pleased with our room. Very clean, well presented and cosy. Friendly pub with attentive staff, great menu, delicious food and refreshments. Exceptional breakfast selection. Not much in the town itself but nice to wander around. Sadly, and NOT the pubs fault at all, but our car was 'keyed' down the entire passenger side whilst in their carpark. A real shame as we were enjoying Cornwall's atmosphere until then. Not a reflection of the pub but perhaps carpark CCTV might eliminate this type of thing. Just our luck and hopefully it was just a one off incident.
Rooms: Clean, cosy and comfortable. Nicely set out.
Nearby activities: Great cider and wine distillery within walking distance. Fowey distillery. Nice community hub and village green.
Noteworthy details: Visit Fowey cider, wine, rum, etc which are brewed in Lostwithiel, a little setup who give tours and tasting. Brilliant place, super helpful and friendly.

The garden cafe... Lostwithiel Community Centre
Pleyber Christ Way, LostwithielSmall cafe in the very busy town community centre. The menu is limited but the food is nicely prepared and pleasantly presented. 4 stars only because of noise and distractions. Great for anyone participating in the events at the centre.
