Brilliant Sunday lunch. Food, drink and hospitality were all fantastic and all provided at a very reasonable price. We have eaten here on holiday several times per year, every year in the last 10. People who rock up on the day are likely to be disappointed so my advice is always plan ahead so as not to be disappointed.
Linsey and Lee are the super nice owners of this pub, which has been recently refurbished conserving the authentic atmosphere, the food is really good, they have a wide selection of drinks including the best local spread, variety of gins and interesting ales. lovely country pub with friendly and gregarious hosts. took mother for lunch, where she had the best fish pie she had had. I had an excellent chowder, we were there to celebrate mother’s 90 birthday.
