Rectory Farm Tearooms

Best Cream Tea we have had, by mutual agreement, in years and I am 74! Charming surroundings, super helpful team who do not wilt under pressure, bless them all, and they were ultra busy. The scones were to die for, the clotted cream a dream and the jam mouth wateringly good. We travel a lot with our best mate and his well behaved dog, and this is by far and away the very best tea room we have visited in over 20 years. THANK you ALL for making the experience so fabulous. You all work so hard, are friendly, efficient and welcoming. The song Simply The Best comes to mind! Love to you all. Mervyn, John and Ruth.

Tamar Lake Café

Lovely visit today, really enjoyable walk around the lake, about 3 miles, mostly flat with views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Then popped to the cafe, friendly and very welcoming staff, had toasties ( thank you for the recommendation of the Bombay potato one, it was delicious !) and coffee, lovely and hot, sat outside with views again, live locally and will definitely be back to try one of the array of cakes which we couldn’t fit in!

Vegetarian options: Lovely to find several vegan options too, not for us but for visiting family

Sandymouth Cafe

Stibb, Bude

My wife and I have just visited Sandymouth beach and cliff top walks.

We frequented the cafe for coffee & cake upon arrival and we had lunch before we left.

Coffee and cakes were lovely. I had Yoghurt topped flapjack & my wife had the GF Caramel Slice.

Our lunches were really tasty. In fact my Southern Fried Chicken Wrap was probably the best wrap I've had in many a year. It was loaded with tasty chicken and salad. It was so good ?

My wife thouroughly enjoyed her Gluten free Turkey, bacon, Brie & Cranberry roll. She said it was packed with filling. It is not always great for my wife when we're are out and about and wanting a quality bite to eat. The standard of many places when it comes to decent Gluten free food is poor and lacking.

We really enjoyed Sandymouth area and the cafe was well worth visiting. Staff were all super friendly & welcoming.

I can highly recommended the cafe. ???

Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options available ?
