Great menu and good food. We must have had a new waitress as service could have been better. Wonderful view and a great place to eat before or after a beach walk.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not really a place for wheelchairs. No nearby parking and steep slop to the hidden gem of a cafe.

Enjoyed this so much we went twice in week during our holiday to Cornwall. It's outstanding.
Food is piping hot, flavoursome and well presented.
Service is impeccable from the moment you enter to the time you leave. Nothing is too much trouble.
Established is clean and welcoming. If you like spicy food, you must visit Balti King, but book your table in advance by either phone or their website to avoid disappointment.
Parking can be a little tricky but if you park in the Commercial Street carpark next to the library (free after 4pm), it's just a short walk.

Harry's Bodega

Harrys Bodega is a Tapas bar. They appear to have a decent selection behind the bar. Would have liked to have tried the wine but stuck to the one draught lager they stocked instead. Staff did say they normally have 2 draught beers.
We were initially the only couple in there at 7pm on a Wednesday evening. I was relieved when more people arrived to help the atmosphere. The seating is on wooden seats and benches.
The menu is on chalk boards on the wall. I personally found this a little confusing and would have preferred something written down with a little explanation of the dishes on offer.
The food was good with decent size plates for tapas. The prices are reasonable too.
I suggest you book since it isn't very big and it closes at 9pm most nights from what I could see.

Parking: Parking limited time up to 5pm.

Sanders Fish And Chips

We were recommended Sanders and were not disappointed. We pre-ordered hake and chips and jumbo sausage and chips to collect. Although they were very busy on a Friday night our meals were only 5 minutes late. The fish was excellent and the batter on both the fish and sausage was delicious light and not at all greasy. The chips were also very tasty. We would recommend.

Ordered two pizzas for my two youngest boys. I was surprised by the quality of the dough.
Pizzas were ready in my arrival and was told I was just waiting for the chips. I was then waiting for ten minutes for the chips, so reserving a star.

The Asda app from the app store is great with star products and milestones to meet allows for savings and a percentage of money back . Also the self scan makes it easier and quicker to shop.

Karen, was very helpful.
The Burgers were nice & moist, not like like other McDonald's which can be quite dry.
The atmosphere was quite calm, which is unusual for most McDonald's.
We had a really pleasant time here.

We have visited a few times before while on holiday. I took my in-laws for the first time. They absolutely loved it. My mother in-law said the steak and ale pie was the best she's had at a restaurant. Second in taste to her own. That's high praise! The beef lasagne and the vegetarian one where so tasty. The portions are plentiful so only one of us had room for dessert. Apple crumble, it looked amazing. I wish I had room for it myself. When I asked them if they had enjoyed the meal they said 10 out of 10 and promotion to favourite daughter in-law for taking them! Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit. I would advise booking. We went on a Tuesday night and it soon filled up.

Birdies Bistro

Just had a week in St Ives – noted from train that Birdie’s Bistro car park always seemed to be full. Paid recce visit here at end of week for coffee and cake. Good vibes, but the cherry was going outside and snapping this kingfisher just the other side of the low wall of the external seating area. Will return next time we are in St Ives.

PS - try a local day ranger rail ticket (adult price £4) – as many times as you like between St Ives & St Erth. Fascinating to see how the view can change in 30 mins with the weather – and also between low and high tide.

Wanted a meal in a cosy country pub with a chilled feel, and found it here. Really friendly staff, so courteous and welcoming. Partner said it's the best fish pie he's ever had, and my bangers and mash were banging! Beautiful dessert too. Will definitely visit again when we are lucky enough to be back in this beautiful county.

We stopped here for breakfast. This diner is located in an industrial estate on a main road but do not let that you put off. The décor inside is very nice with comfortable booth style seating. We ordered a full breakfast and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Everything was delicious. The only negative for us was that when we visited there was one table of 7 very loud workmen. The service was polite and friendly throughout. Along with a vanilla latte and a dark Americano the bill came to £32.25. We would recommend.

Were on holiday, so thought we'd try a couple of pasties, so we we bought 2 from the famouse Hampsons and 2 from Lucy bakes we tried them both and we both agreed Lucy bakes won hands down.
Verdict - Lucy's have big chunks of steak and a better allround taste. Hampsons seems to have less meat and more like mince, and to be honest for us the taste was quite bland. So for us Lucy Bakes gets 5 stars. We'll be visiting again tomorrow to pack our electric cool box and freeze on our return home.

The Jam Pot Cafe

Is a spot frequent when in the area, the cream teas are generous, the scones are lovely, the view is worth it, nice to see they’ve expanded a little for more indoor space, but the garden is definitely the best spot. Is a bit of the beaten path, the nearby car park is little pricey if you want to just pop to the cafe but definitely recommend if in the area to pop in.

Friendly pub good value. Looking for a pub meal we found the Duke where the food wasn't overpriced the beer was excellent and the landlord friendly and helpful. One of us is gluten intolerant but almost everything was available GF.
