Blue Bell Smallwood is a restaurant that offers a beautiful birthday meal, well-presented fresh food, and a specially made pasta for the grandaughter. The venue is outstanding, with a lovely interior, good choice of beers, and an open kitchen. The pub also has a lovely outdoor area, though the sandwich menu was not offered during a lunchtime visit, and mushy peas were served instead of garden peas without prior notice. Despite the disappointing first visit, the restaurant is praised for its superb atmosphere, decor, and the great outdoor seating and kids play area, making it a welcome addition to the rural Congleton pub scene.
