17 19 Middlewich Rd, SandbachCalled in for lunch today as they have an offer on of any burger or pizza with any side and a soft drink for £14.
We both had a burger and they were excellent. You even get asked how you want your burger cooked which is great. Medium ensured we did not get the overcooked burger lots of places serve.
We chatted to the gentlemen serving and to the manager. They are all really friendly and efficient. They originate from Poland but speak excellent English. Far better than our Polish for sure!
We even got to sample an excellent cake that the chef had made that day. A delicious end to our meal.
You must visit this restaurant. We cannot fault it.

2-4 Crewe Rd, SandbachGreat place. Food always superb. Beer always cold, Staff always welcoming. No complimentary prawn crackers now which is a shame but that aside it's one of the many excellent restaurants in Sandbach we visit regularly and will continue to do so. Pad Kra Pao is frankly superb, order a fried egg as an extra to go with it!!

SandbachFantastic place to eat. Also, I should like to point out that a review below by Carole Higgins is untrue: dogs are not allowed anywhere in the pub. They are, as she suggests confined to certain areas. If people wish to eat away from dogs, there are areas they can do so. Don’t let Carole’s misinformation put you off coming to eat here.

The food is amazing!!My third order from here as my other go to place kept getting it wrong and sadly seemed to get greasier and greasier…. :( Thank heavens I stumbled across flames!I can only have thin crust pizza and garlic bread as anything too heavy bread/dough wise makes me ill and so many places get this wrong despite stressing the fact when ordering.. so far so good for flames… Thankyou :)The pizzas and garlic breads are amazing… proper cheese not too greasy and fatty either so no heavy sicky after which is amazing!! And you can taste the fresh ingredients… defo no trace of curry taste either which is often the case from many takeaways that offer pizza and Indian food etc so clearly excellent hygiene here with careful attention to avoid cross contamination! Well done please keep this up as it’s so rare it seems!!Omg the peri peri chicken kebab is superb! And the chicken is cooked to perfection! Not hard not chewy just awesome!!Really hope the high standards you have started out with in your new location continue and don’t slide as sadly so many other places seem to… please keep it up and you will have the market cornered im sure!Will see you very soon no doubt :) ❤️

17-19 Middlewich Rd, SandbachOrdered take away via Uber Eats, although not tracked, delivery was prompt and on time.
Western burger, ingredients felt fresh, great size, really tasty(!!), enjoyed the sauce, really juicy - give the burger that nice taste without running and messing too much!! Mrs also really pleased with classic burger.
I am not normally the kind of person to write reviews but these burgers deserve one!
Would definitely order again.

18 Millpool Way, SandbachSymphony recently provided a Moroccan buffet for us. Andy was super quick to communicate with and was flexible in confirming final numbers until a few days before our event. The fresh salads and roasted veg cous cous were really good and the serving team were very helpful and efficient. Would definitely use again.

3-4 Georges Walk, High St, SandbachI ordered a pick up takeaway. I collected this order, it was on time , yet when I got home and plated the food I was not happy. The lamb in the curry there was 8 small pieces. I got a mixed meat starter which contained 1x small lamb chop, 2 pieces of chicken which looked like a 1 chicken breast was cut into two and 1 small lamb minced keebaab and a slice of lime. The keema naan I ordered was nice but the smallest naan bread I have ever seen and the curry was waaaaay too spicy hardly edible when it was supposed to be medium heat. 1x rice I ordered was under cooked. And just to add not even a small side salad to go with the meal as you would usually get when ordering an Indian takeaway as do all others in Sandbach. The pictures all look great as do the reviews and we were excited to try this place but lesson learned we won't be ordering from here again.

London Rd, SandbachStaff were so warm and welcoming, the place was very clean and presentable. Lovely homely food and reasonably priced menu. Will definitely be returning. I don't think I've ever walked in somewhere for food before where the staff have been so lovely from greeting to leaving. Thank you for an enjoyable Sunday roast. ignore the reviews from 2022 as the pub has been under new management since then

I went to the counter and got served straight away by a great girl the was behind the counter, she got my order together and then carried it out to my car in the disabled bay for me. 8 Welles St, Cheshire, SandbachI love this little place. I’m not a local and only visit Sandbach 2-3 times a year but always make time to pop in. The bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the locals are welcoming. They have a wonderful selection of cask & keg beers and rotate them regularly. Breweries from the area always feature. One whole wall is an amazing variety of cans & bottles to take away. Child & dog-friendly too, which always helps if you have either.

8 The Square, SandbachHad a lovely late lunch/ early tea at the market Tavern this weekend. Traditional pub grub with the BEST PROPER CHIPS. The pub is Dog friendly and shows the rugby but its not super loud, a nice amount of background noise adding to the atmosphere. The two gentlemen that served us were so lovely and friendly. Lovely experience!

People have mentioned problems with the car park. You would have to be blind to miss the notices in the adjacent car park informing drivers that it's a private car park and nothing to do with the pub.

Lion Hotel
17 High St, SandbachClassic community pub in the heart of Sandbach. Great place to watch sports of all kinds especially football on Saturday when the atmosphere can be better than being there. The beer is well kept and well priced but sadly no traditional ale any more. There is a large beer garden to the rear which is great on sunny days and a bookie next door to make you a fortune whilst you enjoy your beer. Well worth a visit or two.

Rooms and spacious and well-appointed but a tiny bit of attention to detail needed and dusty in some areas but really well stocked with everything you need. Staff are all fantastic, so friendly and really can't do enough to help and make the experience overall superb.

175 Crewe Rd, SandbachDidn't eat here although we have in the past a long time ago. We went to buy some special presents for a family visit. A lovely bottle of beer in a resealable bottle which our son-in-law thoroughly enjoyed and truffles for our daughter for her next culinary experience. Helpful and polite service and we hope to eat there very soon.
