Riverside Inn

The Riverside Inn is in a great location, and has a welcoming, modern décor which invites you to spend an hour with a pint at the bar, or spend a couple of hours having a Sunday roast dinner, or anything in between.
On our visit, late afternoon on a Friday, there weren't many customers, and we were greeted and seated quickly in a dog friendly space, which was part of the reason we'd chosen to visit. Dogs are catered for very well, with water bowls and treats in a jar available for you to help yourself. They also offer a full canine menu, with options including a roast chicken dinner for approximately £10.
The range of choices on our menu was good, with a solid selection of those from the main menu as part of the lunchtime and early evening deal. Also available were sandwiches for around £9.50 each, and so we chose those as we felt best value for money and also for the time of day, a lighter bite would be preferred.
2 of us had chicken BLT, and another had a posh fish fingers sandwich. All were very good quality, piping hot, and tasty. We all commented on how much we'd enjoyed them. We then decided on some desserts, a chocolate brownie and a lemon tart. Unfortunately these were a little underwhelming, and slightly let down the food score. There was very little lemon flavour in the tart, and the brownie was not a slice of brownie, more of square of cake. The prices for the desserts didn't seem to be qualified in their quality, unfortunately.
Overall, the service was friendly, but was quite slow. Between finishing the meals and asking for dessert menus felt a significant time, and then between placing the dessert order and them arriving at the table seemed to take even longer. However, generally a positive experience, and I will be visiting Riverside Inn again

Relish Tandoori

Got a takeaway from here last night, first time and it won’t be the last.
I ordered 2 mushroom pilau rice, 2 garlic Nan bread, 1 quorn jalfrezi, 1 vegetable kharai curry and all of it was very nice indeed. Vegetables where very fresh with a little crunch to them. Quorn wasn’t flavourless like some restaurants.

Been hitting this place up for a while now and standards are high.
Classic double pattie burger meal with skin on fries n a blue tango slush.... huge slab of Matilada cake for good measures.... always delivered on the rapid...Git in!

Abda

I love going to Abda's. The food is always delicious, as are the drinks. I love how inventive they are with food and drink and how Abda brings a lot of her culture into her food.
They cater amazingly to allergies and vegans, which is a rare find!
It's got a lovely relaxed atmosphere, and staff are always lovely and welcoming. I also buy my eco friendly stuff from them too, as they have a section upstairs.
I would definitely recommend a visit ❤️

The Bowling Green

Had fab tapas lunch on a miserable Thursday in January. The food was so tasty, freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The Iron Bridge

I came here before opening time to complete some work... Claire the landlady was very friendly and very accommodating...

The pub doesn't open till 3pm but Claire opened up early for me... Thank you !!

Hazel Pear

Lovely place, great selection of beers, food lovely. Only one downside, we had called in earlier to book a table and look at menu, husband really fancied pulled lamb cottage pie and when we went back it was unavailable ☹️

The Bulls Head

Me and my mum came here for Mother’s Day and had the best time. The food was stunning and well presented. Great value for money and they had an offer on for 3 courses! Jason served us and made sure we were enjoying our meal whilst also being served by Hannah (I think her name is) blonde pretty girl. The pair of them were great. Thank you for a lovely day! We had will be coming back soon.

The Spinner & Bergamot

stayed the night in our camper we went in for food and drinks with a catch up with our family that live in the area . the food was amazing and the staff was very friendly warm and welcoming I would say to book in advance as can get busy but understandable as the food is brilliant thank you for letting us stay over see you again soon

The Hart of Hartford

Had a delicious meal here tonight l. We didn't realise it was steak night and this was very good value at £15. The meal was beautifully cooked and the service excellent. Liv looked after us, she recommended an amazing cocktail and made us feel very welcome Thank you

This is our goto saturday night place for dinner after a busy week what a place to go to Food always spot on the beers are finevand the staff give amazing service with a genuine smile 10out of 10 !

Eastern Spice

Always spot on. Best Indian around in my opinion, portion size are generous and food is always piping hot when it arrives. Kebabs are fresh and naan breads are delicious. Tried most of the menu at this point and never really missed. Curry sauces are tasty, especially pasanda and Malaya. Our go to take away. Keep it up eastern spice. 10/10

Lovely venue. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Great Gluten free options. Good easy access for the infirm. The food was excellent and I will be returning now I live locally.

Our first time in Bear and we were pleasantly surprised. Delicious, well prepared dishes. Obviously made either great care. The food was served beautifully and the portion sizes are generous

My faith restored in the best kebab around the area.Had a bad experience a few weeks ago when had to wait hour and half for delivery and was missing items. After a phone call was told to order next kebab on them and sure enough it was honoured served and delivered piping hot and in short time. Dessert Station

One of the best desert places in Northwich, we had two Waffles and a Cookiedoe each. Even though the order was mixed up and the staff called shortly after to apologize and offered us a refund we declined as it was delicious and the orders were a delight. I can't recommend the Chocolate and Strawberry Waffle with Ice Cream enough, the Strawberry's were fresh, chocolate wasn't sickly and the ice cream was fresh and tasty. Couldn't fault the staff they were very apologetic and polite which was enough for us, will be coming back again soon

Great pub and now has a brilliant Sunday music afternoon. This Sunday we watched The Sooper Noodles, who were excellent folky blues covers and some quirky original stuff.

Forest View Inn

Stayed at the campsite over this weekend. Lovely owners and a lovely tucked away campsite with amazing views. Everyone friendly and a nice little farm at the bottom with some animals. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a campsite on the edge of delamere forest.

My dish special chilla and garlic was lovely!! My husband had duck and pancakes! Didn't eat it as was very overcooked and burnt!!! He couldn't eat it as was inedible very disappointed. We may have to go another place for our takeaway.

Slow Boat Chinese Takeaway

Been having take away from Slowboat for about 6-7 years, usually twice per month, Never had a bad meal, consistently good quality, delivery service is good, they give you estimate of delivery time and 90% of time its within 5 mins or so. Don't understand the bad reviews, makes no sense to us. We'd recommend every time.

Great pub, spacious rooms, good outside area..unfortunately, it was a busy Friday night and there was only 2 staff members (bartenders) serving behind the bar, took 20/25 minutes to be served..

Thoroughly enjoyed my food from Flames tonight!
The food was piping hot when it arrived, kebab had lean cuts of steak that was cooked to perfection and was also filled with a very generous portion of salad. The kids loved their cheesy chips, nuggets and milkshake … will be ordering again soon ?

They have a good choice of products, quite a big market, there's a big parking lot accessible via the elevator straight from the shop, they got free restrooms and there's a food court, and they got my favourite ketchup available
Quite a nice place compared to other markets and has good location

McDonald's

Coffe too hot but good.Service feel too uncomfortable to serve the order. But they remember me.. no tickets in printers of my order machine... Sk! But ok.Atmosphere fool of fries and curious people all around.But is a good place... 6 from 10 for a fast-food. Toilets... disaster!
