We stayed her for one night at the weekend. The pub/restaurant itself is beautiful. So cozy and inviting. We loved the atmosphere! It's a fabulous place just to go for a drink, but the food is also beautiful! The room we stayed in was immaculate, warm and inviting and beautifully decorated. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

A Table At Eatons

Wonderful place to eat. Superb food and the owners really looked after us. It was quiet being a weeknight after Mother’s Day but it felt really nice inside and I expect the atmosphere is lovely when it fills up too.

The Old Fire Station Cafe Bar

Loved the vibe of this lovely cafe bar! The menu was plenty large enough with lots of choice both for food and drinks.The staff were really friendly and the food was ample and delicious. This is definitely a place to go and enjoy some good food and have a nice drink.

Carden Arms

Absolutely amazing afternoon, fine food (Sunday roast beef topside and sticky toffee ginger pudding…delicious), and great friendly staff. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will visit again. Thanks.

Forts of India Malpas

Was stranded due to road works and one of your bar staff adel (sorry if it’s spelt wrong ) was very compassionate and made us feel welcomed when waiting to be unstranded 10/10 staff

The Crown Hotel

Really friendly and welcoming owner and staff in this classic village pub. Competitive prices , especially compared to overpriced drinks at Lion PH opposite .This pub deserves to thrive !

The Malpas Chippy

It’s hard to resist having Fish and Chips on another evening other than Fridays! Probably the best Fish & Chips in Cheshire!Maria and her husband run an amazing business and the food is always tasty and delicious ? I tried the scampi ? this evening and it was wonderful.The Fish ? is always fresh and appetising.Everything is always cooked to perfection. We are so lucky to have this business on our doorsteps ☺️☺️?

Called here for a coffee and cake. Lovely location, friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food and drink with plenty of choice and reasonable priced.Dog friendly and welcomes cyclists with a cycle rack in the rear outside seating area.Highly recommendedParking: Plenty of parking available

The Cholmondeley Arms

Mark ordered the steak and kidney pie with minty mashed peas and crispy tender fries, and it was delicious! It was a generous plate... enough for two! The staff and vibe was warm and friendly.

While we enjoyed our meal we realized that the restaurant is actually a repurposed historic school house, and that the old headmaster's house is now an inn. We also learned that there is a castle with extensive garden grounds nearby.

By the time we finished our meal we already laid plans to return to the area for an extended visit. When we do, we will definitely return to this restaurant to try more of their offerings.

Malpas Barbeque

Proper belly buster. Got a mighty meat pizza and the lovely thick pie of flesh hit the spot. If you want a light thin wisp of a pizza go to pizza express but if you want your gut filled with tasty, greasy, lovelyness and leave feeling like you could go on for days go here!
