Well done to the current landlady and team! After years of this pub either changing hands or being closed every 6 months or so, it's back on its feet.Excellent staff, well kept drinks and, as a bonus; now does homemade pies with mash & peas (bangers and mash also available with sausages sourced from a proper local butcher) at very reasonable prices.Of course, no pubs are as busy as they once were but a real effort is being made here and I will definitely be visiting more often.Well...read full review
Wow! Incredible flavoursome, home made pies served with mash, peas and gravy for £7.95.Honestly blown away by the service, food quality and flavour at such a good price.Well done to the team! We will be back!

Dropped into this little pub in Macclesfield, they were holding a charity event for Halloween, kids carving pumpkins , face painting etc ? had a pint and a pie , really lovely atmosphere , friendly staff , would definately recommend checking it
