The Boars Head

Food is fantastic, the design of the place is stunning, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. The roast dinner was amazing one of my favourite places to eat. Highly recommended. The only thing that let us down abit today is we asked for three high chairs when booking in advance when we arrived we was told we couldn’t put it on the end of the table as it’s the walk way but with 6 adults and three kids on the table and no other room to put them which meant one of the children was sat behind/ to the side of us for the whole meal was the only downfall for us today.

Crown Inn

Went for a meal on 24th March we were looked after by the lovely Tristian who was always on hand to answer any queries as well as having a good sense of humour - which isn’t required but always a pleasure!! The food was great as usual.

The Duke Of Gloucester

Just stopped by on the way home from Crewe. Hadn’t googled it or anything it was just on the way. We are slightly tricky customers with 2 gluten and dairy free kids. Nothing was too much. The staff were brilliant and the food (lots of gluten free options - and dairy free alternatives) was delicious. Kids had kids burger and chips (gluten and dairy free and even a chicken burger instead of beef for one) I had the chicken burger and sweet pot fries was lovely. And hubby had the roast with beef and turkey - beef as cooked to perfection (in his words). We will definitely come back!

Woodside

Dietary restrictions: The menu has information about vegetarian and vegan options as well as which meals contain gluten. When ordering the staff also enquired whether I had any food allergies (a nice touch). However, for specific dietary requirements I suggest calling the pub first before booking a table.

This evening my husband collected our order from Ayaans in Audlem.We order many times food from them.Tonight my balti was amazing my husband had lamb tikka mixed starter and nan bread.Best curry always....Excellent quality.

food is good staff are nice but very nosie got trains next door to you bus depot at back of you and trucks with fridges not getting much sleep here not be stopping here again

The shop has had a make over and Greg's have moved in so much more to choose from. The staff at the bakery and the shop are very helpful and friendly. The shop and forecourt are all ways clean and tidy.

The Borough Arms

From the outside the pub just looks ordinary but I stepped inside and loved it, loads of hand pumps for cask ale, cosy traditional interior, mature clientele and well behaved dogs are allowed. The beer selection was brilliant and tasted perfect, the cheese salad batch was massive and freshly made and from memory it was only £2.50

The Flying Lady

Haven't had the food yet. However, great atmosphere, pool tables which are one of the cheapest I've found in Crewe. Just a nice pub with no drama and you can just go and have a nice drink with some mates. Huge smoking areas/car parks to the front and back. The toilets did smell of stale urine though so granted I'm there to just have a wee but a slight put off like they haven't cleaned them in awhile.

The Crewe Dog

Really nice bar with friendly and attentive staff.
They have a great selection of beers on draft, changing every so often, so good to try new, all for fair prices. They also have a good selection of cans too.
They have a few wines, spirits, and soft drinks, too, for those who don't enjoy beer. My partner always comments that the wine is pleasant, especially for the price.
It's in Crewe Market Hall, so there is generally a good atmosphere.
Definitely recommend coming here!

The White Hart

First time visiting here, and it did not disappoint.
The venue was clean and tidy, staff were very welcoming and polite, food was amazingly tasty and fairly priced.

Would definatly recommend visiting.

Neptune

Pukka Pies! It seems so rare to find a chippy that does decent pies these days - they're usually the far inferior Holland's variety...or worse.£6 for a pie, chips, and gravy isn't bad these days, and it was all served with a smile. Chips were decent, with a good portion size, while you can also choose from curry sauce, beans or mushy peas on the £6 deal.Unfortunately I was too busy stuffing my face to get a photo of the actual food.

Fortune City Chinese Restaurant

As a family of 3 we dined in a week ago. The food, service from all staff and atmosphere was excellent. We have dined here many times over the years we've lived in holmes chapel and have always had excellent food. Once again Brian and staff thank you from Moira, Sarah and Kathryn it won't be long before we return

Golden Gate

This is my go to Chinese. Everything comes so fresh , the only reason I give it 4/5 is because the salt and pepper chips are far too over seasoned it's very strong compared to other Chinese I've had. But the nicest crispy duck I've tried in a long time !

Passage To India

I ordered for delivery last night, took 1 hour from order to my front door. The food was absolutely stunning- the garlic chicken tikka saag was my favourite ever tasted and piping hot. Extra poppadoms given which I thought was a great touch. Delivery driver very friendly, ordering second night in a row! Thank you for excellent food & service

P&C Thai Taste

As the place doesn't do halal food the only option was vegetarian which is cooked separately. I highly recommend the food after travelling to Thailand I would say the food is pretty much the same as over there.

Ali Baba Charcoal Grill

This is about the best kebab place! Call in and ordered a chicken kebab made with seasoned breast meat freshly prepared. Cooked on a flame grill in front of you. Lovely fresh salad and a jalapeño on top? topped with the sauce of your choice. A clean kitchen area that’s regularly cleaned as they work. A Good portion size and nice chips to go with your kebab. Other meals are available to order with the lamb kebab looking and smelling very good on the flame grill, I will try one on my next visit! Telephone or internet orders welcome. Cash only sales in the shop so bring your folding money card on line and telephone orders.(Personally I like using cash because if we don’t we will loose it and be a cashless society where we are monitored and every spend is counted! )

Pepper Jacks

The donna twister kebabs are amazing and so are the chicken tikka masala pizza's. Also the cheesy garlic bread pizza's are actually cheesy. Highly recommend ?

Costa Coffee

It looks as though Costa are now allowing dogs onto their premises. I’m surprised they’ve held out for so long. It does make me smile though we’ve recently been through 3 years of a most deadly pandemic where people were keeping 2 metres away from each other and wearing masks and washing their hands every few moments and even wiping food packaging down.

And now we allow dogs in places where people are eating and drinking and there’s young children and baby’s present and the area is supposed to be hygienic.

At least here at Holmes Chapel the dogs have to remain at the far end. I’ve even heard dog lovers and owners say that they don’t agree with dogs in restaurants and cafes. Being as Sandbach let their dogs go anywhere and being as Holmes Chapel is always nice and cosy not cold like Sandbach I think we’ll be coming here from now on.

I only hope the staff thoroughly scrub their hands after stroking and petting them and letting them lick their fingers and hands as you don’t know what the dog has just been licking do you? Enjoy!

I had pie, chips and gravy at a lunchtime and food was a good portion and everything was excellent and tasty, also the staff were very nice. Best chippy in Crewe.

Did a cake stall at this pub for the scooter ? rally on the 29th September...
What a lovely place to hold a fund raiser landlords lovely people... Will definitely visit this pub for a meal..... very clean and tidy...

Haslington Chippy

Amazing Chippy, everything cooked with love and care, produce quality is great, well priced too, Andy and his friendly staff are phenomenal. We will be back soon!

Cod N All Fish & Chip Shop

Came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. Large cod was huge beautifully cooked with a thin crispy Batter. Small chips were more than enough for two. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
