Great atmosphere, excellent Sunday lunch, dairy allergy not a problem and the service and food was excellent. Dog friendly as well. Another excellent lunch. As always great food and excellent service.

I seem to remember posting a review earlier this year about the menu which a group of us found disappointing.
I write to congratulate the team on the new (to me) menu and fish specials last night. Too many tempting options to choose from, now I am going to have to return very soon.
I had half a jerk chicken, spicy and very moist and my friend, also a repeat visitor to The Cock, had the king prawn and mussel linguine which he felt was excellent.
Two lovely puddings followed.
Service was superb, we had a great night. Thanks to all.

Food was great, very lively atmosphere and great music! Good service from our server Josh as well, would recommend to anyone who wants some good well priced food!

The Black Bull

Booked the function room, for my daughter’s special birthday. Staff extremely helpful and communication good beforehand and on the night, where they really helped to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you so much. Lovely food & thank you also for catering for guests who could only eat gluten free. The function room is an amazing venue for a party - absolutely perfect for us and would very highly recommend.

I ordered delivery for first time from Huntingdon, however I was unable to order for my allergies online so I called and spoke to Maria. She was awesome and guided me through ordering online and she would adapt the order as it came through for the chef. She even called me back to double check the order. Everything came as requested and was a good amount of food for the price. Will definitely order take out again. Thanks so much Maria for a great experience and being super helpful.

So, I've been here a fair few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. We booked a table on Saturday – it was quiet, sure, but the staff? Polite, courteous, the lot. Proper nice. I went for the chicken tikka masala, partner had the paneer pasanda – both, absolutely spot on. Delicious. Then, the owner pops over for a chat to make sure everything’s alright, and guess what? Turns out both our daughters are in the same year at school. Small world, eh? And to top it off, he gives us a complimentary drink and starts chatting about how they make their curries – which is right up my street because I love a bit of curry cooking myself. Said I could even pop by one day to see how it’s all done. Honestly, can't recommend it enough. It’s now our go-to in Huntingdon – top-notch curries, brilliant service, the works. Thank you see you soon!

I popped in here recently. Staff member was polite and efficient. Essentially my car had been used as a bombing range target by a flock of what I can only imagine was pterodactyls... The splatter was unbelievable, complete coverage! Anyhow, the Karcher car wash I opted for for £8.95 with my shell card was effective and I left happier than when I arrived. Although I did notice a new scratch after but was that the car wash uncovering it or making it? In all Good job.

I had a car collision on Sunday night near this petrol station and I have been there held by rubbish company AA that never showed up and messed me about with getting me at least taxi back home which was an hour and half drive at night. They keep cancelling on me etc. long story short I been so traumatised and stuff that worked that night named Amanda and Alex were so amazing to me and helpful that this 8h over night till 6:20 in the morning was very supporting and made me feel that I am not alone helped my mental state. I wanted to thank them so much and I wish people like this were everywhere I swear. The next day when I came with my partner to try fix my car another lady was working that evening and she was very sweet to me. Please keep stuff like this appreciated and I hope I will see them soon one day but just passing by ? thank you again!

We had a really nice Easter meal here as a party of 7. Absolutely loved the Pork Cheek and Salmon and Prawn specials. Tasty homemade food and something for everyone. Brilliant you do GF fish and chips.

The Windmill

Family Sunday roast. It was excellent. Quiet enough to speak. The food was good. Small helpings available. We took our own birthday cake which was allowed. Roast potatos had a very tough skin. Cauliflower cheese was a highlight

The Addison Arms

Had a visit to The Addison Arms to pick up a Bad Wolf Burger order. The pub itself seemed a little dated and it was very quiet, we expected it to be a bit busier on a Saturday night.We were greeted in a warm manner and had a chat with a customer while we waited for our food order which didn’t take too long.The burgers were delicious, we had the Big Bad Wolf, Maryland and a New Yorker. The beef patties were huge and very tasty, the side of chips were also nice. Unfortunately the onion rings were a bit disappointing. But overall a really nice meal and we will definitely be back. If you haven’t tried them yet it’s definitely worth a visit.

The Angel

They no longer serving food but it's a gorgeous old pub and it shouldn't be lost so if you're in Ramsey can't have a pint in there we went there for a wake after a funeral and it was lovely cos we had the whole pub to ourselves thanks to the angel ???????

Love medway all the staff are always really friendly foods always great and very reasonably priced they even did the food for our seaside themed wedding which arrived hot and right on time excellent service

Love this place so much. Staff are the most polite and attentive. Food is just superb. We've been going for decades (since it was the Chinese Bridge) and remains our go-to. Couldn't recommend it more highly. The tea smoked chicken is to die for ?

Lee Wong

My first time at the New Lee Wong since that legend of a man Lee retired. Sounds weird but I miss the curtains, all the tat and his epic greeting when calling for a takeaway.The new owners have done well. It’s a lot tidier and more commercial and certainly suited to the casual ‘sweet and sour’ culture that is the British. I was devastated to have my food presented in Tupperware. It really puts me off. The food I did have was a lot different and good in their own ways. Lots of colour and flavours as I’d expect. Staff were very friendly. I’m going to shop about before committing another 30 years to a place so I may be back.For now I will spend most pay days yearning for Lees Crispy Chilli Beef and the subsequent dehydration and gas that it gave me.

Nando's Huntingdon

We have always liked Nandos and we really love this one in Huntingdon. It's a beautiful restaurant, lovely food and great staff. A special shout-out to Josh, who's always a pleasure to see, he's very welcoming

Wing‘s Garden

Been a few months since our last order and the food was fantastic. Lovely duck pancakes, Thai green curry excellent and spot on egg fried rice. Great to have a good Chinese in the village!

Starbucks, Huntingdon - Brampton Hut DT

It's a Starbucks, so you know what you're going to get. I'm reviewing this one to highlight the sterling efforts of the staff who delivered my latte in double quick time despite being down to one coffee machine and facing orders left right and centre.

Burger King

Haven’t been to a Burger King in a long time and I am glad I went in to this one. I was having a awful day and when ordering I was recommended the Dorito fries as I think the server Ben could tell I was looking for comfort (eating my feelings) and he was spot on (thanks Ben).

The main reason my my review is that as I’m sitting eating my food a staff member stops by and asks how my food was and ordering experience etc but following my mumbled yeah great” eyes down reply, stops, looks at me and asks me if I’m ok and then waited for my reply. I won’t go on but I wanted to add this review to let you know that your staff care and made a difference to my day by showing genuine compassion and Pete you were right, it was ok as you said, thanks for taking your time to ask how I was and being that friendly face to pick me up.

McDonald's

Very slow for what should be 'fast food'. Chips were hot which was a bonus. No serviettes provided so had to ask. Been here a number of times but a bit hit and miss.

Madeira Fish Shop

I love this fish and chip shop and look forward to the food and speaking to the owners when we go. The place is buzzing, and they are always happy and smiling. It's always busy. Parabens!

Platters

We have been eating from Platters since the doors opened many years ago, always fresh and tasty Sandwiches, Baguettes, Soups and Jacket Potatoes made to order not pre-packed. Never had a bad one and always good value for the quality you get. The Chicken Bushfire Baguette is my favourite and is out of this world! Just the best. Even if you just nip in for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake you will not be disappointed!

What a fabulous pub! First time visit. Tina is a lovely welcoming landlady. Made us feel so welcome. Darts, Pool, Bowls during the day. Comfortable seating. Wide variety of drinks. We will be back and wished we had ventured inside the doors alot sooner
