73 High St, Great MissendenI absolutely love FanFan pizzeria! The pizza is AMAZING and the staff are lovely! We have only eaten in a couple times but we have had takeaway too many times to count! Quite a thick base which I love but might be a problem for others (just to point out)! Recommend to everyone! ?

The Lee, Great MissendenWent to a “Lobster evening” yesterday. Food was superb. Prawns and scallops to start, Lobster Thermidor for main and a choice of gorgeous desserts to follow. Michelin star standard for this meal. With a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc - what could be better?

Matilda’s Bistro Cafe
30 High St, Great MissendenPopped in here for lunch after a visit to the bookshop down the road. We both had a wrap, shared some chips and had a drink each. Great service, and they even let me customise my wrap. Amazing flavour and quantity of food in the wraps.
If we didn’t live so far away, we’d definitely be regulars!

The Chequers Tree
High St, Prestwood, Great MissendenA wonderful friendly pub. Made most welcome from the moment I arrived, not just from the staff, but the regulars too. The food is excellent and I enjoyed getting through as much as I could of the extensive menu over my 2 and a half week visit to Prestwood while working there. Real home cooking all freshly prepared and a decent portion size. Thank you to Doreen, Darcey and all the staff and regulars for a really enjoyable experience.

The Lee, Great MissendenGreat setting overlooking the “World famous” (it’s been used for outdoor settings for many TV series from “my wife next door” to “midsummer murders”) Lee Common. Italian restaurant the way it use to be done. Enthusiastic staff. Large car park. Small area retains the old fashioned pub style drinking area.

99 High St, Great MissendenOk -having tried every coffee spot for simple flat white coffee on the high street. Kisses takes my number 1 spot in Great miss for a coffee on the run. Temp of milk is spot on and combined well with the extractions. I have a few days left in the village and I’ll be back, for my caffeine fix.

Prestwood Plaice
6, Chequers Parade, Wycombe Rd, Prestwood, Great MissendenFirst visit since the change of ownership and I had seen the mixed reviews from a few months ago.
The food - haddock, cod and chips - was perfectly cooked and every bit as good as previously.
The shop was very busy (Friday evening) but well organised and the service was both quick and friendly.
Three happy customers this evening and very happy to recommend.

30-32 High St, Great MissendenWe called in at this branch on our way to a meeting as we were really early. At the time we were the only customers and we were made to feel really well.The staff are friendly and helpful and dealt with our order for two cappuccino coffees and cakes efficiently. The snack was to the usual high standard I have come to expect at a Costa branch.The branch is typical of the chain and well laid out and spacious. Toilets were modern, well maintained and spotlessly clean.

The Cross Keys
40 High St, Great MissendenI was celebrating with my parents on getting my first flat. We chose here and it was lovely. The atmosphere was super cosy, and really cute. Felt like Christmas…… and I love that.
Food was delicious. I had the chicken, ham and leek pie. On a miserable rainy day this was perfect. Service was good, came quick. Would come back again.

170 Wycombe Rd, Prestwood, Great MissendenStumbled by accident, but I was delighted to enter a very quaint old what would’ve been called and in back in the day they have an amazing bar area that is a stepping time - low ceilings, old wood old fireplaces and so much character
The best thing about this place is the fact that they serve ASahi on draft - I was happy
The service was attentive. It wasn’t a busy time during my visit, but staff were pleasant professional and courteous.
The place comes highly recommended for cocktails or Asahi beer ?
They have a huge extended restaurant area which I didn’t eat in, so I can’t comment on that
Warm and friendly bar area !
