The White Hart PH
Whelpley Hill, CheshamStyle-wise, it's like an old fashioned drinking pub - but the hidden magic is the food!!! As pub dishes go, it doesn't get any better!!
The owner/head chef is so nice and welcoming too.
Great one to tie into a walk from Chesham/Ley Hill or Bovingdon!

The Drawingroom (restaurant&music venue)
Francis Yard, East St, CheshamThere is always a friendly greeting from the owner and also from the other guests there. The staff are always very vigilant, never once tripping up on the cobbled stones! The food, drinks and music never fail to please. Richard has created a very special space at the Drawingroom; whether you are on your own or with a crowd the atmosphere is a little bit of heaven. In short, what's not to like!!

Jasmine Thai Kitchen
51 High St, CheshamWe love this restaurant, firstly because it's a local spot, and secondly because the atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming.
The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, making it hard not to return. What I appreciate most is how they cater to my fussy toddler— they happily prepare a simple plate of plain noodles, which she eats every time. The level of accommodation is fantastic.
The prices are reasonable and affordable. We've visited several times and will definitely be coming back.

The Full Moon
Cholesbury Ln, Hawridge, CheshamExcellent food, drinks and service. Doesn’t matter if you’re a walker looking for a pit stop or if you’re looking for a smart sit down meal, the full moon caters perfectly for all. We eat and drink here frequently and it’s as good as you could ask for. A superb pub in all respects.

Rocce Woodstone Pizza
50 Broad St, CheshamThe pizzas are absolutely delicious here. I recommend trying the different types instead of always going with the same one as they make some really nice pizza bases and toppings. I usually order online and collect it and they are always on time. The value for money is also better than the others in the area.

Bubbles Fish & Chips
149 Sunnyside Rd, CheshamI discovered Bubbles a year ago when I moved into the area, and regularly have fish n chips here, so i feel i can provide an accurate honest review especially on consistency of food and service. I have to say it's the best fish I have had, including at many pubs, its not greasy and fresh. My family have had burgers and other items from here and enjoyed them. The staff and owner who cooks and serves are always friendly and the shop is clean. The service has always been excellent, it is an independent business which I love to support and they make food to order, which is wonderful, so call ahead. I'm surprised at negative reviews making me suspicious that its competitors who have a hidden agenda.

Brown Sugar
74 The Broadway, High St, CheshamAlways a pleasure to go in. Hot food and a Full English, breakfast with toast and 2 cups of tea for about £9.50 so just under a tenner, that’s pretty good. And also you could have substitutes of things like beans, instead of tomatoes and hashbrowns instead of mushrooms. And he won’t charge you extra which I think is really good.

King Charles
Chesham Rd, CheshamWe first visited on 20th September under the new name .( Having previously visited several times over a period of time years ago when each visit was not good) The visit was good so we booked the family in for 4th October which was also good so we will be back again.
Wheelchair accessibility: As a blue badge holder it was nice to have a space close to the entrance . The only disadvantage is there are only 3 disabled bays

Caffè Nero
66-69 The Broadway, CheshamThe staff are quite friendly and cheerful these days - and they were not always - and the coffee is nice even though all these coffee places are pretty expensive in my opinion. I haven't tried the food.
The state of the place is sorely in need of a complete refurb though. The staff keep it clean, but it's been the same interior for a good twenty years and it really shows. The atmosphere is relaxed, but it could be a lot better if the interior felt a little less exhausted and was made a bit more cosy with some soft furnishings to absorb some of the sound.
Update. They got a new shop sign. Yay.
Wheelchair accessibility: No problem for wheelchair access provided someone is kind enough to hold the door.

Eat To The Beat Ltd
Unit 1, Symmetry Park, Laurenson Way, AylesburyWithout a doubt the best catering company ever, I have toured for years with Eat To The Beat feeding us and it's always special. The way you know ETTB is so good I'd when the pressure is on, as it was at the start of COVID-19. All touring music crew were laid off and a lot of us built hospitals. GIG provided is with food, and even on the tight budgets they faced the quality of the food never dropped. It is was and always will be the best.

Restaurant 1838
Church Ln, Latimer, CheshamWe ate at the restaurant whilst staying one night at the hotel to celebrate our 38th Wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent, but the service was slow. Also, when my wife asked for any type of non-alcoholic cocktail, we were told this was not possible, which was both disappointing and surprising for an establishment of this quality. However, at the end of the meal, when asked by the operations manager Seif to comment on the restaurant, I politely and gently shared my thoughts as above. Immediately, he apologised to my wife and arranged for a complementary virgin mohito to be made for her, which was beautifully made by Karina, who also produced a complimentary desert and a "hand-painted" chocolate sign wishing us a "Happy Anniversary". They also removed the cost of our desserts from the bill. Seif and Karina went beyond the call of duty to turn a slightly negative experience into a very positive one. Thank you.

Greggs
49 High St, CheshamVery typical of the Gregg’s chain providing a good selection of snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. This branch looks well maintained and kept clean and the staff are friendly and professional. It has a small area outside in the pedestrianised part of Chesham with four or five tables where you can sit and eat or drink your purchases.Recommended for a quick snack or lunch at reasonable prices but today’s standards.

Pizza Go Go
13 White Hill, CheshamExcellent. The pizza delicious according to my partner. As a coeliac (who doesn’t mind cross contamination) the twister fries and the bbq wings were SO good. The wings aren’t breadcrumbed and the twister fries are potato. Probably cooked in same oil but that doesn’t bother me. Lovely staff, great food.
