Looks more like a pub from the outside but as soon as you walk in the beautiful smell of curry wafts through.Food was great, plentiful. We had starters and mains and some people squeezed in a desert. The menu was clear and well thought out and had a great variety. I had soft shell crab and tandoor prawn.Not a bad dish across the board. I’ve taken some photos but didn’t want to spoil the look of all dishes. My Tandoor Prawn was delicious though.Drank a mix of wine and cobra. Wine was good too. Surprisingly good selection.Service was friendly and warming. Couldn’t have done more.Parking: Massive car parkKid-friendliness: Fine for kids. Bright vibrant atmosphere.

The Black Horse
Ireland, SheffordA lovely public house located in the countryside. I stayed here overnight for business and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was full and I was lucky to get a table as I had not booked. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect, not over the top checking if you were ok, just the right amount. The car park is vast and set back from the accommodation at the back of the building. The accommodation is quaint from the outside and full of creature comforts when inside. Immaculately clean and all aspects of the perfect stay covered. A continental breakfast is provided and I had enough food to take with me on my onward journey to have for lunch. I would definitely recommend this pub and it's accommodation.

Shefford Tandoori
8 High St, SheffordVery few restaurants get 5 stars for service, atmosphere, quality of food and value for money, but Shefford Tandoori achieved it for all four. A fantastic dinning experience and one I’ll be recommending to anyone who will listen. Thank you very much for making us feel special . We look forward to our next visit.

2-4 High St, SheffordLittle gem of a place! Make sure to book as it’s very popular and you won’t find a table during busy times. Lovely friendly service, delicious food and coffee. Both breakfast and lunch menus offer a good choice. Shabby chic decor and very cosy! Lovely atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian choices which is great as so many places now tend to just cater for vegan options.

39 Broad St, Clifton, SheffordThis is one of the finest Indian restaurants I've eaten food from. The service was exceptional and the food the best. I'd never had duck in a curry before but it was delicious and our roast lamb dish was superb, with no fat or gristle. Thank you, we will return.

New Xpress Pizza & chicken
12 High St, SheffordAfter a hard day's decorating, I walked into town to buy fish and chips but stopped here instead.The food is freshly cooked and the owner is a lovely man.The chicken burger was tasty enough but I prefer a chicken breast burger rather than a chopped and reconstituted burger.I will use the New Express again and try another non chicken meal.
