La Bella Calabria

It is alright but we found it disappointing. Nice enough but too big for us, we were surprised at the size. Nice conservatory dining but noisy. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were still finishing our starters when the mains turned up and they stood there and waited for us to finish! We had to tidy the table to make space so they could put the plates down! Never experienced that before! The plates were cold rather than being warmed to help keep the meal warm. Prices are OK but prefer to pay a little more for a smaller restaurant. Our bill had the next table's drinks erroneously added to our bill so we needed to get that changed. There was no rush for us to leave but we didn't stay on for coffees as the pleasure had gone.

The Traveller's Rest

We stopped here before a long journey to rest and refuel. It was a Thursday around 5pm and the restaurant was fully booked but there was space in the bar area where we could order food at the bar. This suited our needs. They had a fair number of options for gluten and dairy free which was great to see with staff on hand to ask questions. The food was tasty and good value. The place had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend a visit.

Dietary restrictions: They are on the glass onion app so you can review your options ahead of time. I found a good amount of options.

Little Lahore

I had an exceptional dining experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive staff and impeccable service. They offered a diverse range of options, we order nihari with butter naan. Which was perfectly balanced with
Fresh and sustainable ingredients. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!

Ewe & Lamb

We’ve been coming here for a few weeks, on a Wednesday and we have not been disappointed. It was lovely for the staff, Luke, Micky and Sheila to introduce themselves to us. Zoe was not working tonight but she also introduced herself to us last week. The food always comes out fresh and piping hot. We shall be visiting every Wednesday for the foreseeable. Thank you guys

Halfway House Beefeater

No issues with food, apart from cold, put it down to being busy
Many items were unavailable, possibly due to how busy they had been.
No issues with parking.
5 stars are for our server/ waitress Sarah x

Highwayman

Maria, our server, was bubbly and provided great service. Dinner and dessert were great, Maria added a heart in the sauce of the dessert which was a lovely touch. i highly recommend eating here.

The White Lion

We had a wonderful meal. We were a large group that booked and pre-ordered in advance. We were welcomed warmly and served promptly and courteously. The chef accommodated various dietary requirements. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was delicious, plentiful and piping hot and good value. We had a great time and look forward to going again.

Good Costa Coffee outlet in Toddington Services, M1 Northbound. Stopped off after a drive up from Basingstoke for tea & a wee, as you do!!The women working the counter did a good job and the one on the coffee machine chatted to me while she was gathering our tea things on a tray. Great service and a friendly word. It really helps to brighten the day!!Good job! Definitely 4-stars. Thanks to the team there.

Pizza Go Go Dunstable

I want to say a massive thanks to these guys whom got us out of trouble when our party caterer had an accident on the way to deliver our food and couldn't deliver. Lots of people at the party and no food!
I rang them and within an hour they delivered 12 huge pizzas and 10 boxes of garlic bread to the venue and saved the day!
As always the pizza's are amazing as is the delivery guy and the service. It all went down a treat with no complaints at all.

First time there tonight with my two friends. Staf , service and food was amazing. One of my friends have been several times so she knew we would like it and she was right. Will definitely be returning to that amazing restaurant.

Believe it or not I've just had my first dominos, wow amazing
Wasn't greasy/oily like other shops
My Mrs is fussy but she ate all of hers bar 2 bits

Papa Johns Pizza

Never had an issue with this shop the staff food or delivery service.. always fresh.. always friendly and helpful and been using this store for years!! Always get the cookie pie! wen ordering ? much better value than the single cookies lol

We love Coconut Garden. The food is always delicious, the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We always enjoy our time here, and will keep coming back!

Zeera Fine Indian Dining

I had a lovely food in this place after a friend suggested to try it out.

The food ranged from no spicy to very spicy but I just enjoyed a garlic flavour one

The service was good even if the place was a bit empty.

Most likely will come back or order take away .

Costa Coffee

I visited during a very busy lunchtime today with 25 min wait in queue. Only 2 staff, but worked off their feet. Should have been more, but the lady in charge demonstrated excellent customer relations in the challenging conditions, also managing a trainee. Unfailing good humour and smiles with occasional apologies remediated the situation in a potentially fraught period.

Greggs

We came to Dunstable from Australia, the kids had heard a lot of hype about Greggs bakery and were keen to try…. My cheese and onion slice was delicious, the sausage rolls weren’t the best, everything else was excellent. Service excellent and friendly. We will return again.

Jacc's Coffee Shop

Very Friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable prices and they even have a customer card they got collect stamps for each drink you buy and your get the 10th free. Has great range of biscuits and savoury products. Milkshakes are great. They are dog friendly and offer water the dogs and even sell pupachinos. Located opposite bennets rec park and has a pay and display car park right next to it and is only a 2 min walk into the town centre.

The Victoria

Very nice pub in the centre of Dunstable, limited parking outside but a large car park within a minutes walk, has a great rotation of real ales that have obviously been very well kept, very hospitable staff.l will definitely be visiting again soon.

Mr Chips

Kebab shop and fish and chips shop combined. So you can have your kebab or half pound cheeseburger with proper chips shop chips instead of fries.
The fish is of a good size and the batter is crisp. Sausages are of decent quality as well.
Prices aren't bad either.
But if a wait if you just turn up and order there. You can pre-order as well, but even then I saw people turn up that had pre-ordered and still waiting.
Definitely recommended.

Parking: Depending on what time you visit parking can be difficult, I went on a Friday at around 7:30 and parked down one of the side streets.

Amici

I just went to lunch at amici. The food was cheap and delicious, the attention was very friendly and the place was very comfortable. It's not my first time but I'll be back a thousand more times. For me the best coffee shop in Dunstable.
